The sounds of deranged laughter fill the halls of the afterlife as a soul apparates into the lobby. Standing on the wooden floor is a figure clad in brightly colored garments with a disconcerting mask upon their face. The mask is large, and made of wood, although any other distinguishing features cannot be seen, as shadows seem to pool in the face of the mask, shielding it from the view of others. The figure wears a red cloth tunic with multiple bells hanging from rope hanging from the sleeves and collar. Behind the mask, two large fabric horns jut out, with bells hanging from the ends of those as well. They wear black fabric trousers, and shoes with pointed toes. "Hahahahaha- wait. How did I get here? ... Where is here? Where am I?"

A young guy with curly brown hair and sharp-not quite elflike, maybe gnomelike, but he’s human sized, perhaps a little shorter stares up at them, giving them a dry smile. “Welcome to death. It’s an awful nice place.” He tucks a loose curl behind his ear. He has a muscular yet short build, wearing a black cloak and a suit of dark steel armor with mismatched plates. His skin isn’t very dark, a bit reddish and brown in many places, and his left hand shakes with a tremor. “I’m Leucippus.”

With a loud crack, a young man appears in the middle of the foyer. He has cropped green hair, closed eyes, fair skin, and a bandanna around his neck. His shirt hangs from his chest in tatters, exposing a long scar across his front. He has three swords at his side, and a bandage wrapped around his arm. He’s bleeding quite badly, and he falls over unconscious.
(For those who know who this is, this is a similar swordsman but not the same. He was a major character inspiration, though.)

The whispering sounds of wind and fire pass by the ears of a few quieter souls in the lobby, as a shorter, thin figure seemingly made of ash materialises within the lobby. A portion of the grey residue flakes off the soul, forming monochrome clothing. Their face is shrouded by a shadow, the only visible part a single glowing eye.
"Eh? What? How... how did I get here?" The soul asks, voice quiet and wispy.
From their appearance alone it seems like they were burnt alive.
