I've always spent my tabletop rpg games using the D&D system, starting with 4e and then 5e. I've always been interested in pathfinder, but by the time I got serious into D&D Pathfinder had like 10,000 releases and it was daunting. I just learned that the 2nd edition of Pathfinder comes out on August 1st and the core rulebook (PHB/DMG equivalent) and the bestiary (MM equivalent), the GM screen, and the first adventure all come out at the same time.
What are others' experiences with Pathfinder and what did you enjoy more about pathfinder than D&D and vice versa? I know that the 2nd edition, or P2 as they're calling it, will have some differences, but I'd still like to know.
