While browsing the magic item list on this website, I noticed the lack of any kind of average cost for each item. It would be nice, as an relatively new DM, to know how much the items I haven't encountered myself before somewhere else had a sort of base reference/control point of cost so that I won't wildly unbalance my games on accident because of inappropriate costs. It's something to think about, and I'm sure many would agree on it.
On another note, I love this site, and everything about it already, excited to see what this will look like when it is complete.
Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination. I will protect those who cannot protect themselves, I will protect even those I hate so long as it is right.

There are no average prices in any official source. And D&D Beyond doesn’t add their own content.

All hail the great and mighty platypus.
Resisting is simply standing in front of the tide and pushing at it. Even if you endure at first, you will eventually break down. Adapting, by contrast, is turning into a fish.

Rangers are not underpowered. They’re just exploration-oriented.

I think (could be wrong) but the best place for this will be on the beta feedback board :)
He's a Wizzard... I'm sure he knows what he's doing. :p

The DMG (p135) gives you some rough values of items by their rarity that you can use for reference.

Wow, I like this table. Thanks dude, but I still think that having average prices here on DDB would be a logical decision.
