Holiday refers to the time between the day after Thanksgiving and New Year's Day.
It's when there's a lot of big releases for video games and consoles and big ticket items because it's when people are doing their "Holiday shopping" for whatever winter holiday they celebrate (Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Yule).
Riddle me this, Americanoes, are y'all no longer using the Gregorian calendar? What month is 'holiday'?
