Alright, I'll make your job easier. As of now all previous statements about the characters just popping into existence are no longer accepted. As of now, Characters are assumed to have done a lot of things in their life and applied to the Gladiator Arena for some reason be that Gold, Glory, or to Simply test their skills. Before the battle starts you can equip yourself with whatever items you want up to a max of ten, and are given the time to attune to them. All equipment that is not from the arena that you're using is removed from you're person and put into a chest so that you can retrieve personal belongings after you quit the Arena, Except for pets unless they are over a challenge rating of 1/2, the pet can be over a CR of 1/2 if it's a subclass specific pet (Ex. Beastmaster, Drakewarden, Battle Smith). Once you enter the Arena you are enchanted with the Arena Rules  buff, which just causes you to have to follow the arena rules no matter where you are until the battle ends, and a invincible, invisible, silent drone follows you around allowing the fight to be broadcasted to the magic T.V.s. As said before, dead players are resurrected by a 40th level Cleric/Bard.

During the hour I use my signet (spell restoring) ring to restore (1) second level spell slot

 I suppose I have to make a drone Stat-Block now? Let's add Immutable Form, A Flying Speed of 150 feet, Immunity to Being Grappled, and an Ability to shake off anyone who jumped atop it's tiny form.

 I'm not going to do that because I most liking have something I can turn into that can find you. also if a shoot ice randomly I still have a okay chance of hitting you.
