Maybe rephrase it to: This magic jar can hold the souls of the deceased. When you use the Blood Curse of the Souleater, instead of using it, you can choose to store it in the jar. The jar can hold up to x amount of souls. As a bonus action you can give the soul to your patron, granting yourself advantage on weapon attacks until the start of your next turn.
