they have a whole different way of spell casting. they only get spell slots of the highest level they have, but get them all back after a short rest instead of long rest, which makes them, IMO, op, except in pvp.
I quickened cast sunbeam, then I use my action to activate the You can create a new line of radiance as your action on any turn until the spell ends. part of sunbeam.
roll two con saves or be blinded and take 24 radiant for the first save, and the second is the same but using different damage dice (32 damage).
Go for Level 30, depending on how many people want to fight the boss we may need another boss

error, the second damage was supposed to be 6d8, not 8d6
the actual damage is 33
and let no one accuse me of trying to keep better damage rolls.
