I can actually cast haste, not just drink the potion, so I can stay well out of range until it wears off. and you can't even use your own potion, because antimagic field suppresses that

Spells, when you got em you're happy, when you don't not so much. New rule, you can get spell scrolls up to a combined level of 9, scrolls count towards the magic item limit.

Seeing as how there's a fighter class that uses mounts, I would say yes. But this should probably be a decision that everyone has a say on, like my spell scroll thing.
