Recently, I've been doing this weird thing where I have been just talking in my character's voice while nobody else is around. I don't know why, but it's felt low key fun to do. I'm not sure if i'm the only one who frequently talks to myself, but it's been going where i've just been saying the things on my mind, but in my characters voice. Does anybody else do this?
Are you sure this belongs in Adohands Kitchen? Maybe you should change the name to people who talk in their character's voice because it is lowkey fun to do cult.
Absolutely. As a DM I find myself talking in a variety of character voices just as practice throughout the day. And Orkira (my dragonborn cleric) has lived in my head long enough that sometimes she just has to say something outside of the game.
All the time. Happened so much that I made a YouTube channel talking about D&D stuff with a dragon puppet that uses one of those voices. Seemed less crazy than talking to myself.

What kind of Dragonborn is Orkira and who is her deity? Just wondering cause one of my characters is a steel Dragonborn sorceress from the Forgotten Realms.
i without noticing often change my voice what im saying so every once in a while my freinds would say ¨why are you talking in zenlos voice¨ when i say something my character might say i also have a youtube channel and on i often sound like the youtubers i watch that do the same thing
I have yet to learn how to do voices. But yeah, my three most devoted characters- Nefer the aarakocra, Yog the tortle cleric, and Languara the elf “lingomancer”- have a bit of a voice within me, and sometimes appear in my dreams, along with characters I never used like Snapper the kenku ranger or Sir Nicholas the paladin. Sometimes their advice helps. They all have high wisdom.
Resisting is simply standing in front of the tide and pushing at it. Even if you endure at first, you will eventually break down. Adapting, by contrast, is turning into a fish.
