DM Training Ground—You Are In A Room (Reboot, Reboot)

Nothing happens. Make a Perception check for me!

You can't seem to locate the basil you were looking at before within the clumps of green that make up the fields around you.

Zuli looks around for some basil as well, sniffing to try and catch the potent smell of the plant,

You're able to find a patch, somewhere off to the side of the road, under the shade of some willow trees.

Once Zuli finds the basil, Darkis says, “One down two to go. Do any of you remember seeing these plants anywhere?” She makes sure the others get to see the engraving.

“What about the wagon? Were either of those for sale there?”

In the carriage, you can't find anything. Just a few piles of random stuff, bottles with unreadable labels, houseplants, and a couple of silks.

Darklis will activate her gem flight and fly up into the air. Then she will scan the area for citrus trees or bushes.

That is the third 9 I’ve rolled for perception in a row. Lol

Zuli leaps out of the wagon, sniffing the air and searching the ground around her for any indication of the other two plants

Darklis, you fly a little too high, and the grasslands below you look mostly green. The delicate, small flowers of citrus trees aren't visible from here---if there are any around.

Zuli, you have better luck. Though you can't see anything either, you notice the very faint but distinct smell of citrus. It's coming from another bunch of trees over to your left, off the road.

Zuli bounds over to the tree, following her nose to where she hope there will be flowers blooming. It would be so irritating if the tree was already fruiting or just started budding. 

Whether it's luck, perfect timing, something else, or all three, you run over to the tree to find that the crisp, white blooms of the clementine tree are at peak harvesting time. 

Darklis flies after Zuli, once she gets there she takes one of the blossoms, and puts it and the basil into the pendant. "Now we just need a poppy." Once again she spreads her wings and lifts off of the ground. Once she does this, she starts making low circles through the field trying to locate any of the flowers.

(Well... At least the 9 wasn't for perception... Darklis must just be blind.)
