"Oh, you said ramble. I am sorry, my native language is not Common." He follows along with the pointing and gesturing, and when the elf trails off, he adds, "Thinking...? What?"
“Well I don’t know, just silly little thought experiments and puzzles adventurers have given me, I’ve gotten into the habit of giving out riddles to cover payments”
“Are you all sure that’s enough food and drink? The adventurers that usually pass through want more, food, mead, wine, really an exuberant amount of everything!”
"I am fine, for now. Thank you. Though I have one question." He takes a sip of the wine. "Do we give you riddles to pay for the food, or do we have to solve the riddles to pay? I am a little confused."

“You answer the riddles! But I’m always happy to have more!”
"An octopus with all but one of its tentacles chopped off?" Zuli says, stabbing the meat on her plate with a dagger with a little to much force. She smiles, "That would be funny. ...I hate riddles so much." She stuffs some of the meat in her mouth and washes it down with some water.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Quixote just blinks a few times in response. "...I do not think that is the correct answer, Zuli. But, I have no other ideas so I cannot judge you." He sips his wine again, swirling the rest in his glass as he thinks. "Maybe it is a letter i, like the ones my sister used to write. Whenever she would write something with the letter i in it, she would put those stupid little hearts on top." He furrows his brows. "The heart is the head, and the letter has one leg, no?" He pauses, considering what Darklis said. "How does that work? It is probably closer than what I said but I am confused. A clock has hands, not legs. Or am I getting that wrong?"
DM:
This isn't too much of a lie but his sister never did that. Idk if that's big enough to warrant a roll or not.

“Not really what I was thinking, but I guess I could see it?”
Wether or not that warrants a roll, you have once again fooled everyone very throughly.

“Ha! I really like that one! Do you all just want the answer? I think that the octopus warrants a success”
After some time Arthilas (who had spent most of the time doing push-ups and burpees) opens the tavern's door and asks his companions, "Outside there is nothing of danger, should I come in and join you?"
"If you want to come in, I have no reservations." The satyr taps the glass with his fingers, making a dull 'tink tink tink' sound. "And go ahead. I have no idea what the answer could be."

"A cabbage? That does not make any sense to me. How many riddles do we have to answer before we have paid?" Quixote takes another drink from his glass. "Now, give us the next riddle."

“Well cabbage grows on a leg and the “heart” of the cabbage is in the cabbage head. Doesn’t matter, try this one! A trail, a union, together tied. Come across me and you will find, you cannot change the course I'm on, without me you cannot travel on. What am I?“

"sure, your going to need a couple to cover the cost of your wine and such"
"Very well," Darklis says, clearly not thrilled.

“Actually, I’d like some mead please!” Agnomally says. “Two decanters. I love riddles!”

"I hate riddles, but its better than having to pay," Zuli says, taking a bite of her food. "So riddle away I guess."
“You answer the riddles! But I’m always happy to have more!”
“I assumed so… let me see… Yep here you are!”
“Alright, they shouldn’t be too hard. What stands on one leg with its heart in its head?”
