(Just so you know, this is not how insight works. You can't just magically know someone's entire past just by watching them... unless you are telepathic and that person is thinking about it at the time. lol Insight is more for telling is someone is lying or if you are trying to predict their next move.)
(To add to that, this is definitely not the place for PvP. Yes, rolling insight or persuasion or whatever on each other counts as PvP. Also, in general, you only roll checks when the DM tells you to. Not always, but for the most part.
Also also, we're level 8. Not a huge deal as this is pretty casual, but still.)
Darklis is a tall, amethyst dragonborn, with dark blue armor and a large flamburge on her back. She has two long horns that curl around her head, and several more spikes that hover around her head and neck. She looks confident but also just tired, she is young but looks as if she has lived for eons.
Darklis description
Darklis pauses in her approach of the flickering light and glances back at the group upon hearing an unfamiliar voice. Seeing the newcomer and her pet dragon, she sighs then glances back towards the light.

Nice rolls. Looks like Darklis is carrying us on this one
(lol I'm glad to be useful since I've been missing so much.)
(Yep, everyone else's right. I personally am okay with y'all rolling checks when it makes sense to roll them (with the exception of PvP), like rolling Perception when you look around a room or Athletics or plain Strength when you try to lift up a heavy object. But if it's not apparent, I'll tell you what to roll!
And, that's just when I DM, so I wouldn't assume it's the same for when others DM.
By the way, what's an Omsosaa? I haven't seen that race in any sourcebook I know. Do you have a description of their racial traits and such?)
Darklis:
There's something very wrong with that shadow, which you immediately recognize as a humanoid's shadow. Even though it was only there for a split second before bolting off, it looked a lot sharper than a normal shadow should be. Also, not to mention that when it scampered off, you couldn't hear any footsteps! Looking up at the room where the light originates, you can't see a single living thing from behind the statue door.
Arthilas:
You recognize the shadow as distinctly humanoid, but no other defining features stood out to you. As the shadow ran off, you realize that it looked strange, it had a very sharp quality to it that most normal shadows do not have.

Wish I knew German, I’ve always wanted to learn. It’s funny, I know a surprising amount of people who speak German.
Hello new player! I already posted a physical description of Clementine correct? “Oh hi! My name’s Clementine! Welcome! We’re not in the best situation right now… uhh we’ve been trapped here for quite a while. My compatriots who have been here longer than me know more than I do… but it’s an odd place.” Is anyones character here met Jerry? I don’t believe so right? “You’ll get the hang of it real quick!” As soon as she sees the dragon wyrmling she pauses and seems to be lost in deep thought, unmoving. She then tucks a small bottle holding a blue scaled mummified hand into her sleeve.
Upon hearing about the shadow Clementine draws a long cruel serrated knife out of her coat, it was unsee before. She drops into a crouch attempting to stealth: 10
Clementine, you're definitely... kind of stealthy. You don't alert the now-gone shadow of your presence. Is there anything you're trying to do while attempting to be stealthy?

It’s basically a child of a Tiefling and an Aasimar. Creatures with a negative intelligence become frightened when they see the one. They have a power similar to the Aasimar flight thing, but they have bits of scales on the wings here and there. They learn thaumaturgy at 1st level and a spell that does 1d8 necrotic and 1d8 radiant damage, along with giving two ally’s within 10 feet the effects of bless and 1 enemy the effects of curse at 5th level. At third level, they unlock two spells, but they can only use one of these two per day.
Their also resistant to necrotic and radiant damage.
I call them the Omsosaa because it’s a combination of infernal and celestial for one of two.
(PS Ea chose the elven blood subrace, giving her resistance to being charmed)
Zuli crouches down in front of the dragon wyrmling and stares it in the face for a moment, "You know... you're kinda cute." She looks up at their newfound companion (DrakenBrine), "Lucky you, you've just entered Tartarus. Hope you like puzzles and mazes and infinite rooms of certain death because that's your life now. Welcome to the family."
Standing up she grins broadly, showing slightly pointed canines, and her green eyes flash before she turns to see what the others are doing with the staff. "Its...lonely? I would be too if I was a staff... you can't walk around...or talk... oh wait, its talking to you? Great, just make sure its not going to possess you or something." She shakes her head, "Rumplestiltskin? You're going to name it... Rumplestiltskin..." She lets out a breath and rolls her eyes, "Whatever."
She eyes the shadow as Verdell advances on it. "Hmm, I like it. ...oh, you broke it. ...what a shame, it would have made a nice pet."
(lol OOC I like the name. Zuli is just...Zuli lol.)
I haven’t introduced my character yet.
That message was for tez
I was just going off what you said earlier about the dragon. I didn't read the spoiler that you wrote for tez. I thought you had introduced your character with the line of dialogue you came in with.
But I guess I can pretend she failed the stealth check.
Those who weren’t focusing on something notice a tall humanoid looking through someone’s bag. Before you could attack, they pulled out an apple and look at Zulu saying ,”sup”.
You notice she is carrying a large bag and a blue dragon wyrmling crawled out of it.
“Name is Ea and this is bolt. Who are you and how many ‘rooms’ have you done?”
Zuli tapps her foot, then shrugs, "Eh, lost count." She pats the dragon on the head, careless as to whether or not it bites her.
Clementine noticing Ea following her and the shadow leaving she awkwardly raises herself out of her crouch. “Well… yeah spooky shadow, where’d it go…?”
much determination reading the whole thread. I salute you.

”I’m at a loss. Also did you call my cousin my pet?”
I did the same before I first joined, cause I was trying to find Rynn's room. But then I promptly forgot it all, except for Alexadger.
Ea, you're just about as stealthy as Clementine.

That manipulated dice roll thing only is there because I made a mistake with the dice roller and didn’t add a 4
Yeah, we kinda just ignore that. Though i would say for future it may be better just to make another post. That dice roller is really sensitive and extremely broken.... lol
