Alexander looks around in utter surprise as the darts come flying from the walls. He stands there like a statue, watching as everyone else scrambles to get away. When the darts hit him, he flinches and looks at them in surprise before stepping forwards after Angelino. "Excellent my Lord. Nothing to worry about here!" He says as blood trickles down from all the dart wounds in his face and hands (and everywhere else that wasn't protected by armor.)
Just before Angelino grabs the sword, you notice that it is leaning against a trigger. Its a trap! Unfortunately, Angelino has already pick up the sword, releasing the trigger! A large boulder is dropped from the ceiling and starts rolling towards you! Run and jump out the hole as fast as you can!
Harmony, you also have noticed the tiles on the floor that trigger the darts so you can avoid them. Everyone else must make a dex save of 15 to mimic harmony and avoid triggering the darts again.
All of you must succeed a dex save of 13 in order to jump out the hole and avoid being crushed by the boulder.
(So everyone but harmony needs to make two dex saves)
Angelino here are the stats for the Sword:
The Emerald Blade— Appearance: This sword looks fragile but has razor sharp edges. Appears to be make entirely of emerald and will change form to match the user’s choice sword. Abilities: (it’s so sharp you can cut yourself by just looking at it!) Any enemy who starts their turn after you will take 3d6 psychic damage. Attacks made with this weapon will deal 1d6 slashing + 1d10 psychic damage. Bonus action: choose one target to take an extra 1d6 psychic damage. Target must succeed a constitution saving throw of 17 for half damage.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ok for those of you who were hit by darts 9
George you're not dead yet!
Angelino is the only one who made it out of the hole (DC was 13 for that)
The rest of you assume that your death had come. The boulder smashes into you and... you feel nothing! ...Physically. As it rolls through you, the world seems to glitch around you. You find yourselves standing outside the vine portal, stunned. All of you must take 2 psychic damage.

Oh… that was unexpected. Cool. George waits patiently for everyone else. (Also, are we stunned or are we stunned by what happened?)
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack

Also just to let you all know, the relics were created to be OP. This set of rooms is basically a condensed version of a One Shot based on the Hunger Games (and a bunch of other things). I made them to make combat a bit quicker. I wasn't really expecting anyone to use them afterwards (They were actually just coding in a virtual reality in the oneshot), because they are OP, but if you want to keep them go for it. Just wanted you to know that.
So yeah, if you want to keep the Emerald Blade Plopped go for it. I'm glad you thinks it's cool. :) LOL I bet you can guess where I stole that idea from....
Also, I'm trying to decide on a character to play. I have one that i made as a back up character that i actually used as an NPC in that One Shot. She is an Echo Knight and she currently has a magic sword. Are you all fine with the Echo Knight and a homebrew magic item? The sword she has isn't nearly as powerful as the weapons I just gave all of you, I just want to make sure your all ok with it.
lol, I saw that coming (sheds tear)

Save 1: 6 save 2: 2
Dex is Alexander’s bane. Lol why :’)
More Dex? Well, I'm switching George out after this set is done, so it doesn't really matter that this is his last life.
22 and 6
Hope this goes well....

Welp, I only cared about the first one anyway.

George, crushed by the boulder, vanishes in a flash of greenish light. I hope he was able to get the Thunder Helm to the others before dying....
I'll wait to introduce my next character until the next encounter or section.
Edit: Is it okay if I have a horse?

I’m fine with it. Let’s hope I don’t die horribly, because I would like to pass this sick sword onto my next character! Dex save 1 11 dex save 2 14
Edit: I made the boulder! Still got some darts! That was 11 damage correct?
They'll probably reroll for the new ones.

Oh no, I still killed Harmony. Hopefully someone can heal her!

Yep. Harmony is unconscious. (Why did I have to roll a two? Why......) :)

Sorry bad choice of words, your just "stunned" by what happened, not the condition stunned.
LOL
I just realized i forgot to post this
DING! A hologram pops up in front of you. It reads:
Congratulations! You have collected the required number of relics to proceed to the Hero's Chamber. Make your way to the Dome to face the Guardian.
Objective: Defeat the Guardian
Rules: none
Penalty of failure: Death
You can see the Dome from where you are.
Also I'm fine with Helmut having a horse.

Alexander heals Harmony for 15 hp using lay on hands. "Well, that was...painful. Should we make our way to this dome then?"
(Horse, Magic Sword, I'm fine with both. I'm still debating on a character as well :) )
