(Honestly, I've really enjoyed having Angelino around. lol, he makes things a bit more interesting. But, if you want to use a new character I won't complain. I've been thinking about changing characters as well, but we will see.)
“Yes! That’s definitely it!” I’ll see when I switch I guess, I am enjoying Angelino too, so if you guys like him, he’ll probably be around for a little longer.
The last light turns on and the third door rolls open. Behind it is a vault-like room with a pedestal in the center of it. On the pedestal is a Bronze Helmet shaped like the head of a Bronze dragon. There is writing below it, but none of you are close enough to read it.
Harmony will approach. (Also does anyone want the shield?)
Same with Angelino, just more careful.
Angelino could take the shield, technically, but it would be better suited on someone who could be more up close with the enemies. Anyway, I’m giving you all a movement to grab it before Angelino notices, he’ll grab it when he realizes he can. He’s greedy.
Once you enter the Vault, you can read the inscription on the pedestal. It reads, The Thunder Helm.
For whoever picks it up:
The Thunder Helm Appearance: A bronze helm resembling the face of a bronze dragon with bolt-shaped horns Abilities: +3 to armor. Once per turn you can use the helm to call down a bolt of lightning striking any creature within a 15ft cone. You can target any creature you can see, at any distance. This will cause 1d10 lightning damage and 1d10 thunder damage. Dex save for half damage 16.
After picking up the Helm, the sand in the previous room drains through slots in the floor, allowing you to once again go through the portal.
George, badly needing a boost to his AC, uses Benign Transposition to get to the Thunder Helm first and puts it on.
"I would apologize... but I see no need."
(Actually, I've been thinking about switching characters too. Not sure which one I should do, though.... What do you all think? Firbolg Barbarian, Warforged Artificer/Wizard, or High Elf Fighter?)

Ha! It seems we’re all planning on switching! I’m gonna be playing a rouge, so if you want to take that into consideration, you can, but I suggest just playing someone fun. So, because it seems that everyone but Thoruck are switching… why not at the end of this awesome set of… puzzles? Rooms? Whenever Rynn stops DMing.

Actually... I won't be playing any of those. Yet another Aasimar is being banished to this prison of endless rooms....
But back to the puzzle! Oh wait... I have to wait.

I might actually send Thoruk off to wander somewhere and pull out another character. I've a couple which I'd be keen to try out (though I'd actually have to make sheets for them, Thoruk's easy to memorise - hit, hit more, then hit angrily!)

Then hit some more! Anyway, yeah. Seems like we are all going to be throwing in new characters.
It also seems like we're due for a level-up soon. I haven't been keeping track of how many rooms since we last leveled, but it's probably been about enough to level (after this one, of course).

I'm also thinking about switching- I have a gnomish sorcerer. Maybe we can all come back with our new characters at level 7 at the end of this room? Or do we want to stick with 6?
Lol this'll be fun, I can even work the character switch into the end of this room. (Still allowing them to come back if they are wanted again of course). And I agree with Helmut, this is a series of puzzles so it could definitely count as several rooms. We could even count it as three or four if you all want. You still have two more puzzles and at least one more fight before this is done....
Anyways! George takes the helm and you all make your way back out to the valley or doorways. The three figures who were running towards you are nowhere to be seen. Though you can still see a few other teams frantically jumping into doors. You may now choose between the vine door and the tree door.
"I think the shield would be better off in the hands of someone with less armor than I," Alexander says to Harmony. "Well, I don't think it matters which door we choose since we will have to do both anyway." He starts making his way over to the tree door.
(Heh, maybe we can work in a happy ever after for these guys. Perhaps the gods of the endless rooms will see fit to let them out. lol)

I think two would be good; it's kind of a compromise between one for the whole thing and one per section. But whatever everyone wants is good with me, of course.
So, if everyone's good with it, I vote we go to 7 after this room, and anyone who wants to can switch characters (not that we couldn't before...).

For those who enter the tree door:
You enter a large room, at the back of the room are several items. Below these items is the phase: Looks may deceive. Choose wisely.
The items are:
A Sword, A Warhammer, a gold Goblet, a large stick, a ram’s horn, and a quill.

Thoruk has been pondering, and now says "Is it lightning?".
Then he sees the doors are open now.
Thoruk will follow everyone who goes through the portal.

Okay, just went and counted, and this will be our 5th room since the reboot. (We spent an incredibly long time on Aroc_of_Eaf's room.)
Edit: Maybe the one we're in should count as two, though, since it's multiple puzzles put together.... Just a thought.
