Darklis is caught slightly off guard by the oddly peaceful feeling. "There must be some kind of catch. Unless I actually died back there..." Noticing the horse, she starts to walk towards it. Hopefully downwind of it.
You start to walk towards the horse, and everything seems fine. The horse, gradually getting closer, doesn't look up at you or seem to notice you in any way. You look back, however, and though the rest of the party doesn't seem to have moved from the spot they were standing in, they're still as close to you as they were before.

Zuli sniffs the air, and also takes note of the horse in the distance, "Now this is more like it." She grins, ignoring the fact that Darklis is also approaching the horse, and crouches down as her hunter's instincts take over. Like a tiger stalking her prey, she prowls up to the horse. Her movements are quick, quiet, and precise.
Stealth check: 17
Her feral side longs to attack the animal, but she also realizes that it could be useful. She has had some experience dealing with wild horses. Though it has been ages since she has really needed a steed to cover ground swiftly, there was a time she used whatever horse she could--even if it meant swinging onto an untamed one in the wilderness. So, she positions herself to approach its shoulder instead of from behind. If it decides to turn away from her, she will also turn away in an attempt to show it that she means it no harm. She will repeat this, mimicking its behavior, until the animal takes a step towards her. At that point, she will offer her hand for it to smell.
As you crouch down to the ground and start moving up to the horse, you notice something is very wrong here. No matter how much distance you seem to have traveled, the horse doesn't get any closer. The grass on either side of you is moving, but the hill on which the midnight-colored horse is grazing peacefully stays the same distance from you. You look over at Darklis, and she doesn't seem to be making much progress either. While the two of you, relative to each other in your movements and how far you've each traveled, seem to be following the laws of physics, the horse and the hill stay away.

Zuli stops in her tracks, frustrated. "Alright, now I will slaughter that thing if I can get my hands on it." She sniffs the air, testing to see if she can scent the horse or otherwise determine if it is just an illusion.

As you push up into the air, all you see is more of the same. More hills, grass, and trees as far as the eye can see, as the road continues to wind its way through them.

You're successfully able to bottle up a few bees, and they all are different types of bees. Mason bees, Carpenter bees, and even Neon Cuckoo Bee that catches your interest.

Seeing as it's a little ways away, as you smell the air you can't quite catch its smell, only the scent of wild clover. You close your eyes, attempting to channel all of your concentration to your sense of smell, and there it is, the unmistakable smell of horse fur and dung. It's not an illusion.

Zuli blinks, her eyes flashing green. She takes a step or two more in the direction of the horse before shaking her head and snarling. "Is this some sort of sick joke?" She crouches, then dashes forward with near inhuman speed dashes forward as if hoping to outrun whatever spell is keeping her from reaching her target.
You run, almost in a blind rage. You dash as far as you can, about what feels like 30-ish feet, and you come to a stop, out of breath. Looking up, you find yourself in the same situation as before; while you've gotten very far from the group, the mare is no closer than it was.
The Hunter:
You shoot your arrow into the distance, let's say along the middle of the road. You see the arrow go up, up, and away, then curve back down to the ground. It looks like you should've shot it far, by the look of the arc the arrow made as it soared into the air. But when you take a closer look at where the arrow actually landed, it looks like it landed about 5 feet from where you stand.

With a bird's eye view, you hope to get a clear view of what is happening. Darklis, at her casual walking pace, is a little bit away from where you and the hunter stood. Zuli, on the other hand, in the midst of her frustration, has gotten much farther. The arrow that the hunter shot seems to have been a dupe; it sticks up from the ground at around 5 feet from their feet. The horse is still happily grazing on its hill of wild clover, a good ways away from Zuli.

Rolling her eyes at Zuli, Darklis continues towards the horse but starts to angle slightly to whichever side it's head is on. She is pretending to ignore it while still walking in it's general direction.
Zuli knocks an arrow and fires at the horse with her longbow. She aims high, arching the arrow to get further distance. At this point, she doesn't care if it hits the horse, she just wants to see if the arrow has more luck getting close than she does.

Because I’m not reading the spoilers this doesn’t make much sense. “You guys are weird, leave that horse alone, or at least let me keep the body” Clementine says absentmindedly as she inspects her bees. She then starts studying the fields surrounding her, as the test did say “a test of pattern recognition” perception: 22

“Hey guys! You’re making progress! It’s just longer than it looks!” Agnomally will see if it’s easier to travel flying, and if so, she will try to reach the horse.
