Zuli accepts the rope, twisting it in her hands as she contemplates how best to use it. Initially she had thought to find a grappling hook and try to throw it back up to the cliff face. Many, many, more ideas had gone through her head. Most were not viable at the moment, or otherwise disobeyed the laws of nature...which she knew very little about anyway apart from kill or be killed. The ground is to far away, and by this point they were pretty far off from the cliff as well...to far to shoot an arrow, even with her powerful longbow. The rope would be to heavy... Blast. Her thoughts are interrupted when the bandits appeared.
"Oh, you idiots again," Zuli grumbles, tying the hemp rope to her belt before drawing her longbow. "Hey, why don't you look down eh? I think there are more important things to worry about than that blasted pendant."

“You guys again… look, guys were falling really fast and we’re not sure where we’re going… so let’s cooperate! Please…”
Unless it’s an absolutely outrageous price, Verdell purchases the pendant from the satyr and proceeds to give it to the bandits. “Leave us now, or suffer our - or at least my - wrath.”

(I should probably have mentioned this, but the party's split. One half of the party is falling off a cliff with one satyr and their carriage and two bandits, and the other half is just chatting with another satyr with a carriage, with no bandits. Since one half is falling off a cliff, I assumed the group you walked over to is the group that's right down the road, without the bandits.)
"Cooperate? Wha's that?" one grunts, seemingly undisturbed at the fact that you are all falling from a great height. "We just want that pendant! 'S our ticket outta here."

“What does that mean?” Zuli demands. “Your ticket out of here? I’ve seen this play out before, no one gets out. In fact everything melted into goo after one of my companions got their hands on that thing. Of course, not of you were dead by then.” She gives them a mysterious look, as if to say she knows something they don’t.

Giving them the that mysterious look, Zuli, seemed to do the trick, but not in the way you intend. The bandits only seem to get even more confused. "Huuh? Goo? No, we jus' want that pendant to give it to the boss!" Upon hearing about this 'boss', the other bandit gets excited. "Yeah! The boss! He's the greatest, he gonna give us riches an' stuff! We're gonna give it to 'im, an' then we're gonna take our pay an' go an' live off our own land!" The first bandit smacks him lightly upside the head. "For God'ssakes, George, I'm tryin' to sound intimidating over here!" He sighs. "You couldn't pour water outta a boot with the instructions on the heel, could ya George." "Nope!" The first bandit puts his face into his hands, then looks up at you. "Look, guys, we jus' want that pendant, an' we won't give ya any trouble."
Clementine, you look down into your coat pockets, where you had stuffed the pendant into before. Though you didn't notice its weight disappearing, it's no longer there.

Darklis nods, ".dnatsrednu I", She has had many such experiences while stuck in the matrix... or whatever that previous death game was. She looks over to Agnomally, "Remember those bandits from before? I'm wondering if we need to let them take the pendant that they wanted." She says this in a quiet voice so the satyr cannot hear.
“Yes I think that would be the best course of action.” Darklis falls silent, “Umm…. Do you have any money? Before I was, well, wherever I was, I was a gladiator. So I don’t have any money.” Then she grumbled under her breath, “My entire life has been spent as entertainment for people or entities I don’t even know.”
Agnomally checks her pockets and looks surprised and frustrated to come up empty. “I thought I did. I could just take it with Mage Hand maybe?” She says this very quietly, so the satyr doesn’t hear.
Zuli rolls her eyes, “You two really are thick you know that. Your boss is just using you. That’s what always happens to idiots like you.” She turns her attention to the pendant, curious. Then she asks the satyr, “Would you mind if I take a look at this blasted thing? Perhaps we can sort this out.” She eyes the bandits, “Tell me, how do you expect to take this to your boss if you fall to your death?”

“Distract him for me?” Agnomally waits until the satyr is looking at Darklis, then uses her Mage Hand to try to find the amulet in the satyr’s shop without alerting him. Stealth/Sleight of Hand (same mod): 20
