I computed the probabilities for rolling 12d12 to see how many 12s we might expect, but more appropriately how many 12s in a string we could expect to get.
No 12s in 12d12 ... 35.20% of the time
1 - 12 ... 38.40% of the time
2 - 12s ... 19.20% of the time
3 - 12s ... 5.82% of the time
4 - 12s ... 1.19% of the time
5 - 12s ... 0.17% of the time
6 - 12s ... 0.02% of the time
the rest, less than 0.005% of the time.
But this was for 12s popping up anywhere. My hypothesis is that a string of top numbers will not come up as often as they should. So ...
2 - touching 12s in 12d12 ... 3.20% of the time with no other 12s showing up
3 - touching 12s in 12d12 ... 0.264% of the time with no other 12s showing up
4 - touching 12s in 12d12 ... 0.022% of the time with no other 12s showing up
