It spits out a potion.  It looks uncommonly like a potion of stone giant strength, but when you drink it, it reveals itself to be a potion of Tasha's Hideous Laughter.

I feed it Adohand's sword

The mimic swallows the sword down whole before belching loudly and spitting up a series of decorative forks.

You see a brown blur to your right and feel a sharp bite on your butt.  However, it doesn't look like the mimic moved at all...

The mimic is possessed by the now consumed spirit of Tiamat. It sprouts 4 additional mouths. It now has the cape ability to eat many things at once.

A giant Portal opens and begins to suck everything inside of it as the Tiamat Mimic is ripped apart. A new mimic then magically appears and spits out the portal which continues to suck thing in.
