Alara looks back at Corvi. “It’s gonna freeze down here real soon. We gotta get back upstairs! Hurry.” She rushes toward the stairs, making sure Corvi is still right behind her.
The walls seem to be coated in frost, and a freezing breeze brushes up against your neck.

Alara finds the stairs and hurries up them, still pulling Corvi behind her. “Count the stairs!” she calls out to Corvi as they both go up. Alara is counting on her energy bar ability to get her up the stairs safely.

*How many stairs is Corvi able to count? Or is she going too fast to count them all?*

Gawain now goes down the corridor, waving goodbye.
Drummer waves back.
The corridor turns left.
Gawain turns around and walks back.
"Hi again!"
"Hi!" Gawain says, and walks back down the corridor.
*Rule broken, looked back*
*Actually, the corridor is supposed to turn left, and it did.*
*It's supposed to turn right*
*It was supposed to turn left before*
*Nah, it was right the entire time*
*Hmm... Yeah, you're right, I just remembered incorrectly. The reason I went back was because I wanted to see what would happen if I went the wrong way*

You indeed pull Corvi too fast for her to count the stairs, but thankfully, nothing bad seems to happen.

You walk down the corridor, but you find it really hard to walk, as if your going up a hill. Everything else seems normal though, the floor is level.

*You will get one my friend, so do not worry. We still have 2 snacks left, 4 normal monsters to kill, 4 potential events, and one boss fight before this is over.*
Dragon walks downstairs
20 steps, you arrive on the ground floor.
I go to the living room
You walk into a living room. There are two orange sofas and an old school TV around the room, and a middle aged man with glasses is sitting on the sofa furthest from you, watching some cooking show on the TV. He doesn't notice you. There's also a small fire lit at the back of the room in a red brick fireplace.
I try to jump through the TV
You knock the TV over.
"Oi, who knocked over me TV?" The man stands up, straining to try and see you. His eyesight isn't the best.
"Snacks?"
"Drummer? That you?"
"Yeah"
"Oh. Okay. What are you doing up at this hour? And why did you knock over the TV?"

Alara lets go of Corvi’s wrist once they reach the top of the stairs. “We’re safe now. Let’s go back to the fort and wait this out kay? We can go explore downstairs some more once this freeze is over.” She waits to see if Corvi agrees with this plan.
