Once Jimmy has tied together all the sheets, he wraps them up into an easy to carry loop and heads down to the room with the hole. He tests the doorknobs strength.
The doorknob seems reasonably strong, strong enough to take your weight anyway.

I want you to know. You are going to lose. You are going to lose badly. You’re going to lose badly and it’s going to be awesome.
Once at the Fort, Corvi sets down the board on a table, grabbing and lighting a candle from the Equipment to set beside the board. She then grabs a magnifying glass (again, from the equipment), and sets it on top to act as that weird plastic piece with the hole in the middle: You know, the thing that lets the ghost spell out what they're saying.
"Maybe we'll get some answers with this."
Drummer peers over. "Ooo, this could be interesting..."

Corvi takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself down enough for what she plans on doing: She's had experience with ghosts in the past... and none of it was pleasant. She places her hands on the magnifying glass, ready to receive an answer from whatever is causing all this. She looks back at the others, nervously smiling.
"Well, here goes nothing." Corvi turns back around, closing her eyes.
"Who are you?" She calls out to the air, awaiting a response with equal anticipation and dread.

For a second, nothing happens. Your words hang in the air.
Then suddenly, your hands invorenterily jerk over to one side of the board, causing the magnifying glass to land on the letter H.

You and Alara together now hold the magnifying glass. Your hands start moving again, and its getting faster. E. Then H again, its going fast. Then even faster, you fly back to E again.
It pauses for a breath, and its easy to think its all over. But it shoots off again, its going so fast your hands don't feel like they can keep up, and you can only just read the letters. A. You hear the crackle of thunder outside. N. You feel a small wind picking up, blowing both your hair around. It flies over to A again. The board shakes.
It then heads towards B, C, and D, but you can't tell which it was heading for. The magnifying glass shatters, and the frame goes flying out of your hand and across the room. The wind suddenly dies down, the sky outside goes back to just spooky clouds, and the board goes still.
