*Finally lmao, someone rolls well. Every single other person who investigated in here did badly*
As you look through the boxes, something catches your eye. Pushing through them, you notice what looks like an old laundry shoot, buried behind all the sheets. Its circular, and doesn't go straight down, but at a slope.

I want you to know. You are going to lose. You are going to lose badly. You’re going to lose badly and it’s going to be awesome.
Corvi doesn't notice anything, and is able to continue on.
Alara notices that the swirling on the walls has stopped, its sorted itself into words.
In the bowl, there seems to be something small, and circular. Its glowing too brightly to tell exactly what it is.
Corvi realizes just how dirty her glasses are, and takes them off momentarily, using her blindfold to wipe the smudges off of their lenses. After putting them back on, she dons the blindfold again and reaches towards the glowing object, moving very slowly to avoid startling anything that could be in the room with them.
As you reach forward, you feel heat coming from the object. It's not too hot though, and you are able to touch it/pick it up if that's what you want to do.
Corvi does grab the glowing object, slowly lifting up her blindfold with her other hand to get a good look at it. She doesn't look directly at it, though: Spooky adventures and magical treasure is fun and all, but not if it gleams brightly enough to make Corvi need stronger prescription glasses in the future.

As it is lifted out of the bowl, the glowing seems to fade, as does the heat. You seem to be holding, what looks to be, a malteaser.

If you haven't introed yet then you can see how on the first post.
If you have, then I don't know where they are, I can't keep track of everyone unless they're posting regularly lmao. By default they would be at the pillow fort, in the spare room. You can always reintro if it gets confusing.
Corvi holds the sweet in her palm, trying not to let the chocolate melt in her hand, and she looks to Alara. "I think I found one of the snacks. You want it?"

Corvi holds the sweet in her palm, trying not to let the chocolate melt in her hand, and she looks to Alara. "I think I found one of the snacks. You want it?"
“Thanks!” Alara says with a smile. “You can have the next one.” She takes the candy and investigates it. “Should I eat it?” she asks Corvi. “Or save it for later?”

"I'd say eat it now. Odds are, it has some magic powers like the ones we found last time. Besides, it'll probably dissolve if we leave it for too long." Corvi, having never played Call of Cthullu (even though she's really wanted to), walks over to the writing on the wall to read it.

Heading out through the door, you find yourself in a dark oak corridor. Gentle candle lights are on stands attached to the wall, lighting the way. There's a door to your left, and a little way forward, a door on the right. Both look like they might fall off their hinges. This house hasn't been properly used in years. There's what looks like a landing at the end of the corridor, and of course the door you just came through is behind you.
