The rules state everything you can do though. And even if you left the other guilds alone, every guild is claimed and so to progress everyone will be attacking or reclaiming anyway. I think everyone would agree that you can't just add new guilds. And if it is invisible, it might confuse people who copy it.

The rules give you all your options: Add or subtract, do not post twice in a row unless you're saying something that does not alter the score, and if at any point a guild is at 60 a turn may be used to claim it. A guild at 0 is permanently removed.

I can't have a list of hundreds of rules. I never specifically said "Do not add guilds" because it was implied that you should know that. I never said, "Do not divide points by 2 by spending multiple actions" or "If a guild is at 10 points you may rename it", but everyone knows you can't do those things either. You can only affect the game by adding 1, subtracting 1, or renaming when a guild is at 60.

Everyone wants a guild. But several people have played this, and there could only possibly be 6 people playing who get one (5 now, as one guild was slain). So don't take it hard if you don't have a guild.

Agreed with Bananer. If I, as creator of the game, said "So, I'm going to make DGO completely mine because I don't like duck", and it was legal for me to do that, would anyone care? I may be getting many of the guilds, but at least they're rightfully mine. DGO is rightfully... what's his name, something duck dragon? And New Carcosa is rightfully Archfey's.

And is it that satisfying to own a guild if you cheat to get it, or pretend you own one?

Flowerfield, like I said, the rules say the only things you can do. If you could do whatever isn't in the rules, I could do any random thing I want: Divide New Carcosa's points by 2, then remove 3 letters from the name of each guild, killing DGO, then combine guilds together, make Rosewrath Wardens -32 instead of 32, etc.

 Others won't be happy. Either the game breaks and everyone gets a guild, or I let you have a guild, and everyone else is mad at you for getting one when they don't. If it's that angering, maybe you should take a break from this game to cool down. If your anger doesn't go away, then maybe you should take a long break from this game because a simple game like this shouldn't be that big of a deal. And if no magically adding a guild is a problem, what if you do get a guild and it's destroyed or claimed? Everyone is trying to move on, how about you do so too? I'm sorry but I can't let you create a guild.

Do you want a mod to get involved to stop you? You know we could just ignore all your posts, or even vote on banning you from the game. What makes a Mod different? I think you just need a little break from this. We'll just keep ignoring this new guild.
