I am not sure which letter I consider the best, the "Q" is an important contender. Although in my native tongue it is not useful, it at least is very consistent. It will always be followed up by "U". I cannot think of any other letter in the alphabet that holds that power, it made my french lessons back in high school just a little bit easier (not by much).
