Silly Short Stories

So. I had an idea for a forum game that I hadn't exactly seen yet. Person A comments an idea for a short story(no more than one sentence), and the next person turns that idea into a story. The connection must be there, and shouldn't have to be explained, but you can twist it a little bit. 

Example- Your cookie comes to life(prompt) 

I go to take a bite of my cookie, and suddenly I hear a scream. I drop the cookie, and look around franticly. I hear a shout of pain as the cookie hits the floor, and as I look down I realize the cooikie has come alive!

You can make your story longer or shorter than this, if you want.

I'll start- You pick an apple from a tree and a dagger on a rope takes it back up into the tree.

You get a bit angry, so you get an axe and chop down the tree, but as you swing the tree very briefly liquefies as the axe hits it and turns back to normal the moment the axe passes all they way through. You get the idea to let the apple fall by leaving the axe in the tree, but it freezes before it can pour down on you, so now your axe is stuck.

You buy a laser drill, but the tree becomes mirror plated and breaks the drill with it's own laser. Now thoroughly infuriated, you grab the nearest gun and begin firing. The tree turns bulletproof.

You then throw a grenade at the tree, but the grenade turns into a pile of dust the moment it touches the tree. You then spray a stream of sulfuric acid at it, but the trees fires a stream of sap that dissolves the acid. You then try to climb the tree, but a blast of air knocks you 10 feet away.

You then just punch the tree and the tree turns to dust, but so does the very apple you were trying to get. That same dust then shapes itself into a new tree and turns to metal. Then, you wake up, with an apple on your bed.

The next story continues off of this one: you grab at said apple, but it avoids your hands repeatedly.
