OK, then. It takes a while to fall (usually 60 ft per turn), so the Simulacrum Dimension Doors back down. I fall as usual as I am Invulnerable to damage. I use my action to cast Disintegrate on you: 69 force.

Just realised how ridiculous that was. When we reach the floor, I cast Plane Shift on us both and we get outta there.
I go to an area protected by a casting of Mordenkainen's Private Sanctum (which blocks planar travel) (but not directly with the Plane Shift for obvious reasons). There I begin to recover my Simulacrum.
after casting gate fails to summon you, I have a private sanctum of my own created (with all the features enabled) get myself killed (to turn back into a human), and then have one of my allies cast true polymorph to turn me into an adult gold dragon (I'm fully willing to wait out the time until I become ancient, and as there isn't a specific time that I would be at with polymorph, I'd just say that I'm a few years from ancient), all staying within private sanctum, hidden somewhere. (are we using dragon spellcasting rule variant?)
if we are using dragon spellcasting, here's my list: heroes' feast, earthbind, globe of invulnerability, earthquake, elemental bane, fire storm, freezing sphere, forcecage, disintegrate. dc would be 24, and to hit (although I didn't take any attack roll spells) is +16
Over the years, I do several things in secret (ie. I'm not telling you straight off the bat).
Eventually, one of your helpers (because I'm assuming you've proofed yourself against divination spells) receives a Dream, where they're told the sequence of a teleportation cirle and a message:
"iExist, get over here. If you want this fight, you're coming to me."
oh yeah, and all the other warding spells (forbiddance, hallow, that stuff), probably a 5-panel thick wall of stone as well.
God, iExist, you're living in a cave! You know that as long as I can't divine your location and use planar travel to go there, then there is no point in the other spells.
and I plane shift over to the material plane, somewhere. not at your circle, just somewhere. I then turn into a fly using my change shape ability and scout around. I have had one scroll made for me, and I have it on my simulacrum. (if simulacrum is cast while I'm polymorphed, does it look like original me, or dragon me?)

Chilling kinda vibe.
it takes far, far, less time to fall. 60 feet per round is with feather fall. it's 500, and that's being generous in your favour. also, dex save: 19
on a fail, legendary resistance
dex save gave me an error message, seeing if editing this will fix it. it did.

Please ignore my old homebrew, and for the love of every god out there don't use it.
I (used to, it's kinda dead now) participate in the Level 20 Gladiator Arena with a nameless hero (actually I think I deleted him, whoops).
you aren't in range for long enough to do that, as you fell on my turn, and you would be out of range when you tried to cast.
