anyways, my area is warded against planar travel and has all the warding spells, and forbiddance (blocking undead and fiends) extending 30 feet further than all the rest (damage set to radiant)
what do I see as I scout as a fly? assuming that I can assume a human form and ask where the village-razing necromancer is. (those zombies don't come from nothing)
Also, I have my fort set up that the only way to enter is via my Teleportation Circle. It also can't be seen from the air or ground and I only leave by teleporting out.
well, I have my own preparations, and it would be incredibly dumb of me to go into your teleportation circle, just from how many glyphs of warding could go off. instead I use my dragon big-brain to set up a puzzle where I would know you would find it (in towns not yet slaughtered) that leads to just outside my (heavily defended) castle's planar portal thing. also, as you can only use finger of death 4 times a day, are you doing the slowest assault on towns ever seen? (the target has to have been slain by finger of death to be a zombie, not used on the dead body)
also, I bring over my cleric to cast forbiddance on every town not yet pillaged except for one, and camp it out in fly form. (because who would suspect a fly when you lead an army of undead. I think you'd probably have a serious fly problem) (blocking undead with radiant damage, of course)

I'm not pillaging any villages - just picking off the odd humanoid from various tribes, gangs and settlements. Most of them are goblins and suchlike, but remember I'm not limited to the Material Plane here.
I promise that when you come through my Teleportation Circle, there are no Glyphs of Warding (what would be the fun in that?).

Picking off people each day from various areas. Keeping a low profile. I have years, remember? 4 a day is 1460 zombies every year. And that's not counting leap years!
you won't have to. mostly because they don't have any ranged attacks. also, how are you hiding that many undead? if I wait it out, you'll run out of room to put them. and you can just roll one attack roll and one damage roll and use that for all of them.
a point I want to make: although dragons aren't always sorcerers, they carry the potential to be, and I would like to think that I'm getting my sorcerer levels back (as in channeling the innate magic of dragons to be a draconic bloodline sorcerer).
anyways, if your undead were just stragglers from monstrous races, I'd assume fly form and follow stragglers from clans of monstrous races until you get one from the group that I'm following. from there, I do something. (I'm not telling what until later)
the multiverse is large, but you can't hide forever. I'm hidden from scrying, but there's an especially powerful golden dragon on mount celestia, and that would point towards me. I'm not hiding, and I don't have only one point of entry (which is suspicious when you reveal it to your enemy)
the simulacrum could be me before or after turning into a dragon, you decide what you would prefer to fight. (up to you to determine if simulacrum cast on a polymorphed to dragon human yields an ancient dragon, or a human spellcaster)
some of the glyphs have summoning spells in them as well. (conjure animals, woodland creatures, elemental, that stuff)

Please ignore my old homebrew, and for the love of every god out there don't use it.
I (used to, it's kinda dead now) participate in the Level 20 Gladiator Arena with a nameless hero (actually I think I deleted him, whoops).

Of course. From various planes and locations so that won't help you find me.
Chilling kinda vibe.

So you're just not going to fight me?

Don't worry - I have taken precautions against death (of old age). I won't die a natural death.

Clone. If I die then my Clone's body is younger than mine and I just move into that.

It's just going to be hell making attack rolls for all of them.

when I do this, I'm not taking feats or ability score increases, in the intent of keeping some level of balance, but I'm taking spells and metamagics
