speaking of half orks, how did you end up as one, since in 40k orks don't reproduce like humans do
Ork who thought if a baby spore thing landed on another creatures skin, it would become a half-Ork, half whatever it landed on. This Ork was killed by a Space Marine with damaged armor.
I don't know a lot about 40k, but I might possibly want to join.

The big problem I'm seeing is that I love monster PCs, and from my understanding that doesn't tend to go over well with... well, any faction, really. Maybe Chaos would accept a monster character, but I'm guessing this takes place in Imperium territory.

mmm, I was thinking more of a space marine who was captured by Fabius Bile and experimented on, only to escape later?
That would actually explain his distaste in corrupt governments, if I understand the lore correctly.
