So I'm working on a setting called Iron Gut, which is set in a surreal industrial post-apocalypse. Computers and robots run on punch cards, the elements are sugar, meat, steam, steel, rot, and voltage, all sorts of weird stuff. One rule of thumb in this world is that it is so polluted that the world was plunged into an eternal state of famine. Another is that since the gods abandoned it, there has been a sort of divine power vacuum allowing specific creatures to become godlike entities that need to consume imagination and hope to fuel their supernatural abilities.
Anyway, if you guys have any suggestions or comments, I'm up for hearing them.
A cult of cyborgs who hate humanity, blaming it for the mass pollution, and seek to destroy their own humanity, subjecting themselves to immense physical and psychological tortures and trying to spread their ideology?

Part of my idea is that humanity is mostly dead, replaced by artificial creatures, so while cyborgs would be an unlikely occurrence, I may take your idea for the anti-human cult.

Already there. They are one of the worst things humanity invented, and now, left to their own devices, they loathe smaller creatures for being able to interact with the world and act constructively as the dragons so desire to.
The dragons belch smog, oil, sludge, and steam in all directions and devour flammables wherever they can fuel their oversized bodies. They are creative, sapient war machines designed to cut down armies with ease. Each one is unique, and they are even capable of changing their programming by making new punch cards and inserting them into their brains. However, they lack hands and are typically too terrifying or dangerous to interact with normal society, thus their resentment towards it.

Hey, I have a totally random question: how large do you think a creature has to be to weld a short sword and short bow?

To weld those? They'd have to be a decent blacksmith

Not 100% sure, probably anything bigger than a human, or human sized with multiple arms or insane dex

Ok, let me rephrase this:
How big do you think a creature has to be to wield a short sword OR short bow?

Ok, I'd go with 66cm as minimum, as Yoda is 66cm and can wield a lightsaber
