I reckon Flint can fit into most settings, he's been in post-apocalypses before with very little change. The one place he might struggle is in the Stone Age

You guys are awesome and mean so much to me. And mean so much to each other.
Yonstore is much closer to medieval-esque, as it's still very metropolitan, like a modern city with a dnd twist, the existence of sewers and the large supermarket means I can use my electric guitar.

Yeah! I think it was meant to be medieval but the medieval kinda slipped away a long time ago. A lot of D&D cities have sewers, which is a bit of an anachronism, but I'm not gonna complain!

Fun fact, guns were first popularly used in the 15th century, plate armor was mostly used in the 15th century, which means dnd with guns should be pretty normal, but it isn't for some reason. Not medieval enough i guess

Yeah, D&D doesn't really fit with any time period really, there are a decent amount of barbarians, vikings and the like, but also things like libraries and huge cities

And vikings were around 15th century fighting the Anglo-Saxons who had medieval stuff, late 15th of course they all died out, but it's not wrong historically

Shakespear, the most famous bard was born mid-15th century, and vikings had skalds, who were singers and poets. And the first theater was the Theater of Dionysus, a theater in Athens next to the Acropolis built in the 5th century

In my campaign guns are a new technology made by the dwarves, as the storyline progresses so does the technology, there are now firearms in the campaign and a fairly short train system.
True! I guess he can fit into pretty much any setting

I can change his guitar into a lute and his road leathers into leather armor, and then you have medieval Tyrion.

Yeah, but it's not like vikings didn't have big cities and libraries. They were WAY smarter than we give them credit for.

True. But a lot of D&D stuff looks late-medieval- bards and theatres for example

Is Flint's background Urchin? Because one of the starting 'other items' for Urchin is actually a pet mouse, which is so fitting
