Because the children were born of his fruit, he believed them to be his, so he kidnapped the beautiful daughter. The dragon daughter was of no interest to him because of her hideous form.

So the rest of the story is about the dragon daughter going on to rescue her sister. The story will start a little before their birth and continue on until the sister is rescued and will follow the growth and development of the dragon child. It is heavily inspired by a Hellboy short story, random folklore, and my love for dragons.

Hi, guys! I made some alterations to Plague Eater's loadout.

His staff now looks like a hybrid between a handgonne (also known as a hand cannon because of its design and functionality) and a kanabo (Japanese metal greatclub). In addition, it slots into his new shield, which is a tower shield designed to look like a mouth. When placed into the shield, the staff is stabilized enough for him to fire at long distances without issue.

Mechanically, they are still just a shield and a(n albeit extremely powerful) staff, but flavor is everything.

Nice. That's really cool.

Here's a diary entry from Plague Eater as a child of about 9. He was always eloquent, but he later found out that that was kinda weird and turned to using some more normal words:

Dear diary,

Mom found out about my traps today.

It was around dinnertime, and I supposed that I could have a snack, as family dinners don't really satisfy me anymore. I was out in the woods, and I believe I must have taken too long eating, as mom came looking for me.

She screamed when she saw me, caked in fresh, hot gore and right next to one of dad's missing hunting traps. She believed me to be wounded, so she sprinted toward me and gave me a big hug, crying. She said she needed to get me to a cleric. Then she noticed the half-eaten fox in the trap.

I want to pretend that I don't know whart she was thinking. That, like some other times, I just didn't understand. That my lizard brain just didn't get it. But her face made it all so clear.

"Did you do this?" She asked, but she didn't want an answer. She knew what I did, and she knew exactly why.

She's whisper-yelling at dad now. She sent me to my room without dinner. Locked the door, too. I'm so hungry. I can't tell what she's saying, but words like "psychopath" and "monster" I can hear perfectly clearly.

She's scared. I think I am too.
