OOG sorry, just arrived. could someone tell me what we know about the shard?
The eishalon possesses a handful of gimmicks, none of which we can see yet, but its biggest gimmick is that most of its abilities are interruptible, meaning that if it takes damage from a player during the round the ability either loses power or outright fails.
FWOOM. M. of Folly Takes the hit [6-12= -6] M. of Folly stands in ground. [37+15 = 52] 1 damage! the eishalon's negative grace modifier returns to 7 as the ice metls.
Gene pours mana into the shard and drops the shuriken.
You pour in mana, in massive quantitys, even empowered by Wooby, but... all you feel is a hollowness. the mana's just... Gone. it's strange.... I'm not sure what you mean by 'the shuriken', so that doesn't do anything.
The head miniature eldritch abomination calls in to the shopkeeper who sighs and presses a button. The Eldritch Problem Solvers Co™ comes to the rescue, jumping in to help solve all of the mini eldritch abomination's problems in a period of time so small mere mortal minds cannot comprehend it. Good thing the shopkeep's not a mere mortal.
I pull the scythe out of my chest, then pull out a box of cute, widdle fuzzy bunny wabbits and tear them to pieces, drinking the sweet nectar of their blood in order to heal myself.
you heal your more grievous wounds... there's still a bit of pain, but not much.
I blast the Eishalon with lightning from my staff.
ZZzzzap.
M. of Folly remains grounded [11-7= 4] M. of Folly Remains unmoved. [36+15 = 51] 1 damage! their tears bright, redder then a dying flame, crackle in the light of the twin stars.
retaineroffollysummoned <EishalonTurn> The Eishalon jitters, and a thread connects it to two of the flickering monsters flying around it, which drop dead to the ground. it seems revitalized? </eishalonturn>
“Why, hello, mr. Dragon.” I point at the Eishalon. “Torch that guy for me.”
I then use cure wounds on Wooby.
RRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAR
I wanted to put an animation of it roaring here, but i realized it's really hard to draw a dragon facing you And show a large amount of it And it's hard to get contrast when every color you can use is within 20 units of black. so.... nevermind. woobys remaining wounds are healed, how nice of you!
Gene picks up dead wood and stores it into her bag along the way. Enough wood to last many long hours of burning, but she probably won't need that much. 12/40
Where do you find this dead wood, perchance? do you expect there to be random fallen logs in the middle of the forest? why? what would have killed their tree?
[note: in all posts i consider part of the charge (as opposed to investigation of related, non-charge things) have had the charge amount inserted into them. you are currently at 12/40.]
OOG sorry, just arrived. could someone tell me what we know about the shard?
it takes damage in "damage mites", rolling 1D40 when you hit it, and if your damage is above the roll, it takes damage. it has 36 damage mites, and some unknown way to heal them. its stronger attacks cost it 'energy crystals', and require it to not have been hit recently. also, it is scan resistant.
The mammoth uses stamped because it's been idling the whole time and that's a bit too little doing stuff. the stampede whacks into the magnets and eishalon for 25, 25 (canceling out), 25, and 30-(40-7)=-3 = 0 damage mites. the squid keeps on growing. The Dragon breaths fire on the eishalon, M. of Folly finds their place [30-7= 23] M. of Folly smoulders slowly. [8+15 = 23] 1 damage.
the Deva rolls to finish the deal...and doesn't quite, but it'll be done next turn for sure. the Magnet attacks the sun god's golem, but the heat weakens its magnetism. it also grows some more. The Godmodder decides to give the eishalon another energy. The Eishalon grins maniacaly... but both of its attacks are interrupted by it having taken damage.

10/10 for I Am A Helicopter. WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH. The sound of a flying helicopter noise is made high above, and everyone looks as a quintet of villagercopteres fly out of a portal high above the battlefield. A large villager tank drives out of the portal and falls to the ground below with a mighty THUD. The villagers have sent aid at the request of the Shopkeeper, the true great master of the universal testificate profession; pointless trade. "Hey I heard that!" shush you now's not the time.
Anyways, the villager tank is a mostly standard entity aside from the synergy it shares with the five villagercopters. Each villagercopter that is still alive adds a x0.2 modifier onto the tank's attack. So when one copter is alive it does x1.2 damage, when all 5 are alive it does x2 damage, and when all 5 are dead, it does x1 damage, with the other various values being in between The helicopters have no regular attack aside from the attack bonus they give to the tank. They CAN however kamikaze into a single enemy, sacrificing themselves and dealing moderate damage in the process. Aside from those two things they're pretty much useless.

Two waterskins are taken out of the suspiciously small bag. The bearer of such, Gene, heads to the riverside.
Two waterholdythings get taken out of a bag that's probably size of a pack of playing cards, because that would be rather suspiciously small, even for a bag of holding of some form. you reach the riverside. the ground is muddy, and you see the battle in the distance. you also see some zombies on the other side of the river, huddled within some ruins.
I slash at the Eishalon, using the Flex-Tape empowered rapier, and cast Magic Weapon on it to try and deal more damage.
Orders: Keep up the pressure on the Eishalon, whip it with your tail!
M. of Folly breaks Away. [39-7 = 32] M. of Folly Shakes from pain. [3+15 = 18] 1 damage! the eishalon escapes the dirt keeping it trapped due to its high roll though. the golem nullifys the magnet growth, and takes 20 damage. The Deva finally finishes! the blackjack personbro shows up. The Enormous squid is then bought by the Deva. they proceed to both leave the field. maybe they'll be back eventually, but I wouldn't count on me to remember decide to do it. The Dragon... uh... whips the eishalon with its tail...? that's... not one of its attacks? eh. I'll allow it. The Ender Dragon hits it with its tail! let's see... what should that do? raw damage is boring.... dragon tail is a pokemon move right? yeah, and it causes the target to switch out. The Manifest of folly will no longer take damage (and loses one of its actions, though you can still attack the Eishalon to interrupt it, it just won't lower the damage mite count), while the Retainers of Folly take the lead. Ohheyiforgottorolldamagehere.itdoes0damagecuztheeishalonrolledaperfect40. The Retainers of folly swarm forwards, doing a combined 1D40 -> 25 damage to the obsidian pillars... 2 die, and one takes heavy damage. 40 damage to the dragon! -3 to its regen. The Eishalon does 10 damage to an Obsidian pillar with a obsidian-crumbling punch, (20 damage to the dragon, -1 regen) 5 damage to the dragon directly, and 5 to the mammoth. The Godmodder decides to be a miserable annoying person guy. he steals 1 of GENE's Emerald goop, heats it the rest of the way up into being a liquid, and bribes the villagercopters with it. 3 of them accept the bribe, for villagers are a race of greedy who are like liquid emerald, and kill hatsune miku. this is retroactively added to the sidequest.

How the blackjack warrior works: every round a number from 1 to 10 is added to the warrior's "count", the higher the blackjack warrior's count, the more damage it does. Upon hitting a count equal to 21 or higher, the blackjack warrior also dies. BUT, if the blackjack warrior hits 21 damage exactly, it unleashes one final attack of astronomical power before its death.
Elsewhere, fighters gather for a grand tournament, of strength, willpower, and skill.

the Eishalon waits, and gives itself a status effect. it also regenerates rampantly, for +2 damage mites.
/Eishalonturn!
Also did 1 damage mite.

M. of Folly breaks Away. [39-7 = 32]
M. of Folly Shakes from pain. [3+15 = 18]
1 damage! the eishalon escapes the dirt keeping it trapped due to its high roll though.
the golem nullifys the magnet growth, and takes 20 damage. The Deva finally finishes! the blackjack personbro shows up.
The Enormous squid is then bought by the Deva. they proceed to both leave the field. maybe they'll be back eventually, but I wouldn't count on me to
rememberdecide to do it.The Dragon... uh... whips the eishalon with its tail...? that's... not one of its attacks?
M. of Folly tries to overcome. [3]
uh... congratulations. take another 1 damage.

GENE is delivered the blackjack warrior.
