And now I'm going on a holiday for a week, so if combat ensues, Thoruk will rage and attack things. If there is a dramatic method for doing so, he will choose it.

Mendigo tries in vain to push the person off with his small arms.

Not my fault. No one’s doing anything, and the room is plainly before them.

Harmony doesn't really know how to solve this! She was hoping Thoruk or Jerry had some ideas, because she's stumped!

I expected to return to more stuff having happened! Also sad that my attack rolled so low!

I will try to work out where the noise is coming from (to track whatever I hit) (perception roll: 20)

If it is nearby, I will swing at it again (Attack roll: 25, damage roll: 11 )

If the attack roll needs to be at disadvantage, then the second roll is 8

If I can't locate the sound, I will take a bear trap from my pack (hanging on the side) and will set it up on the floor, and bait it with some bread.

I really hope it doesn't need to be at disadvantage! XD

Do I get the impression that this is a swarm of invisible things, or a single thing buzzing? Does the buzz sound organic (like wings) or magical/science-y?

It sounds like one entity with wings.

Assuming nothing interrupts me:

I lay out a blanket on the floor - it's pretty big, as Thoruk likes to be snuggly when he goes night-night. I tie rope to the 4 corners of it, and attempt to loop it over anything there might be above me - if nothing presents itself (torch sconce, for example) then I will carefully try to use one of the trees.

If it all gets set up well, I will toss some bread onto the blanket, and prepare myself to yank my improvised blanket trap closed the second the bread disappears.

There aren’t any visible sources of a hook or anything other than the trees growing out of the walls.

Is there anything at the end of the room, beyond the trees?

I guess I'm going to be looping the rope over the nearest tree, and putting the blanket under it!

What save do I need? XD
