You successfully secure a rope across the pool of lava! There is a feature in the rough stone walls which you manage to secure the rope to, and pull it tight.

You now have a tightrope over a pool of lava!

Yay! Jerry, is Mendigo ready?

Onward Mendigo! “Gooooo! Please don’t die, eghw that felt weird coming out of my mouth”

Mendigo grabs ahold of the rope and starts out across the lava, the rope sagging lower and lower as he drags himself across. As he reaches the middle, you see that he is very nearly touching the molten rock, and in the glow of the lava you see the wood on his back start to darken under the intense heat. But, Mendigo manages to climb across and drop down, standing on the stone podium at the far end, beside the lectern!

'Yay! Mendigo!' 

“Nice one bud! Okay anything over there? Grab it if you can and come back! Unless it’s sharp… or cursed… or some other form of danger…”

You see Mendigo look over the podium, and on top of the lectern. Then he puts a finger on the top of the lectern and seems to trace around something, and then grabs hold of the rope. Another tense journey back, during which Mendigo comes another shade closer to charcoal, and Mendigo is back across, empty handed and lightly smoking. Mendigo moves over to the lectern in the main chamber and starts running his finger around each of the amulets, one at a time, and pointing back to the corridor with his other hand.

“Okay bud… explain?”

'Are you saying there is a place for the amulets to go on the lectern? Or is there more things to place in the holes in the amulets?'

"big puppet is funny, ha ha." Drawre's pure joy is masked by his monotone voice.

"Is it an evil puppet, should i shoot?" cocks the arrow again pointing at the puppet, as u can tell he loves shootin'
