This new room is large and circular, and the ceiling appears bewitched to give off sunlight akin to a summers day, though you can still make out the stonework when you look closely. There is a large blossom tree in the middle of the room hanging in small clusters of pink blossoms. There are creepers growing up the walls with large, yellow flowers. There are several shallow pools of water in which glisten a sprinkling of coins as you might find in a wishing well, with large lily pads with big, blue lily flowers floating on the surface. Between the pools are bushes featuring large, drooping white flowers. There are a large amount of plump, docile bees drifting lazily from flower to flower, though there seems to be some pattern to their movements.
On one wall is the only door out of the room. The door is made of heavy wood, and features a circular metal plate on the front about a foot round. The edges of the plate are decorated, making it look like a coin, but the face of it is blank. There is a small vase positioned in front of it, empty. Above this giant, blank coin are the words "Life is on the other side".
In stark contrast to the previous room, the air is infused with the beautiful fragrance of flowers.
The solution from the previous room was to get in the pot wasn't it?) Also I fly up and try to flip the coin.
It was indeed! I was concerned that I maybe hadn't described the pots well enough to make people think getting in them (or just sticking their heads in) would be possible!
Back to the task at hand: You push, pull and twist on the giant coin on the door but it doesn't move at all. You take note that the vase is positioned right in front of the blank face of the coin.
As you go to scoop the water you notice the coins in the pools. On closer inspection, they all have an image of a plant on each side. Roll me a nature check!
Jerry has also started a covert bonfire in the corner of the room. This seems to make the bees agitated, and they move to the other side of the room. The only ones not moving are those on the clusters of blossom flowers, which continue to feverishly buzz around the flowers.
Whilst you are all standing around feeling stumped, you notice that the border of the coins is the same as that of the giant coin on the door.
You also notice that the bees are behaving differently on each of the flowers;
The ones on the pink flowers do not leave the pink flowers, and are always feverishly buzzing around them trying to get more. There are even some small fights between the bees when a cluster of flowers becomes too crowded.
The bees on the white drooping flowers seem to fall down into a small pile of bees underneath. Every so often a bee will buzz lazily up from these piles and fly off.
The bees on the Yellow flowers seem to fly off as if they are drunk. These are the only ones which land on the blue flowers.
The bees on the blue flowers drop almost instantly into one of the dish-like lily pads. The pads have a shallow layer of fluid in them and appear to be digesting the bees that fall in.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. Jerry will eat one of the yellow flowers and see if that makes him drunk.
Jerry eats the flower and is filled with euphoria - All the flowers are so beautiful! They smell so good! You have to smell them! You drift in a slightly drunken-seeming daze, a little unsteady on your feet, and with the biggest smile on your face. You bet these flowers smell even better than napalm.
I look over at the other side of the room (the part that’s on fire), then at the giggling Jerry, then back at the fire, then turn to Jerry and proceed to knock him out with poison spray.
