I enlarge Alexander and move to the east side of the room. "Alexander! I need you over here with me! Everyone else, get to the west door and try not to aggravate the statue!" If Alexander comes to me, I explain what I need him for. "Since you are likely the toughest of all of us, I need you to help me to draw the statue's attention and get it over here. You can fly and smite, and I can teleport and bombard the thing, so I think this should be able to work pretty effectively. I do need it to not get to me, though. Sound good?"
Alexander hurries over and nods. "That's the best plan I've heard all day. However, I am willing to take a risk if you are willing to simply stand aside and avoid blows. I can challenge this beast to a duel, and hopefully survive long enough to provide an adequate distraction."
Alexander uses compelled duel on the statue. The statue must succeed a 14 on a wisdom saving throw.
"My thought is that I'll blast it with magic missile while you melee it. The more focused it is on coming over here, the better."
(Also, I only changed compelled duel from your post to a tooltip in mine for easier reference.)
"If the beast complies to the duel, she should be drawn over to me, if not, fire away."

(George will drop enlarge/reduce and use thunder step to teleport myself and Alexander to the other side of the room once the statue is far enough over here.)

As Alexander and Helmut (I've forgotten your characters name!) move to the east side of the room, and everyone else moves to the West, the statue takes a swing towards Alexander with it's sword:
Attack: 25 Damage: 16 Slashing damage, if it hits.
Wisdom save for the compelled duel:

The statue turns and lumbers towards you, and you feel yourself growing taller from the Enlarge spell that's on you. The room tilts further under the weight of the statue, and on the ~West side of the room, you hear a small clunk as the doorway, which the floor has just drawn level with, swings softly open. Behind it is an alcove, containing a lever.

The statue makes a second swing at Alexander;
Attack: 29 Damage: 15
His name is George.
"Guys, I just realized what's happening. There is presumably a lever behind each door, and pulling all four will remove the bars holding the ground-level door so we can get to the next room. Each of you, choose one of the remaining doors and go to it so you can pull each lever as Alexander and I get the statue to come around the room. That is, if my thought process is correct." Turning to Alexander, George says, "Let's go clockwise around the room," as he casts magic missile at the statue and starts moving toward the south door.

The first blow glances harmlessly off Alexander's armor, "How is that for a portable oven!" His joy is short lived when the second attack strikes true. Bruised and bloody, he smiles to hide the pain, "Is that the best you can do?"
Just as George casts magic missile, Alexander raises his sword and slashes at the statue, using divine smite at 2nd level.

George's bolts spark off the side of the statue, and it turns towards him, baring her teeth.

Then moves to follow George.
The pain throws off your aim, and your blow doesn't connect.
The statue ponderously stomps towards you and George on the South end of the room. The floor tilts, raising Angelino (rightly, by his opinion) above everyone else. The door behind him opens, revealing another alcove with a lever. The door with Kay behind it remains open as the floor sinks down.
The statue makes another swing at Alexander, with another shriek of twisting metal;

Angelino will pull the lever, then hop back on to the plate and blast a bolt of radiance at Alexander healing you for… 3 he will spend the rest of combat probably trying to stay away from the statue.
edit: I gave you 2D6 instead of 1 because I didn’t want to risk a bad roll, looks like I was screwed no matter what.

(hey, the statue rolled double-1 on 2d8, so it's obviously a round for low rolls!)
As you pull the lever, there is another grinding clunk and another of the bars retracts from the door.
Kay hops out of the door and prepares to run to the last door(I forgot which one it was).
The statue is on the South end of the room, with George and Alexander. You were in the West door, and Angelino just pulled the North door lever. Harmony is by the East door, which is unopened, along with the South door.
The room is currently tilted such that the South end is low and the North end is high!
(Scattered showers moving in from the northwest...)
George (and Alexander, I hope) will continue around the room, going to the east side and magic missile-ing the statue on the way there. He doesn't go far without Alexander, though. He also shout to the others, "Guys! I would recommend, and I think Alexander would appreciate, stacking buffs on Alexander. Maybe something to make him more durable?"

Alexander salutes Angelino in thanks and parries the statue's next blow in the same motion.
Harmony casts haste on Alexander. 'This is the best I've got!'
Alexander visibly speeds up as he follows George, "Any aid is appreciated!"
He pauses as he runs to take another slash at the statue, this time he uses channel divinity to strengthen his attack:
Attack: 9 add charisma modifier: 3
Damage: 9
Exhilarated, he takes another swipe at his foe:
Extra Attack: 25
Damage: 7
Then he uses the additional speed granted to him by Harmony to Disengage, attempting to get out of the statues reach whilst following George around the room.
"Forgive me, perhaps some more healing will do me some good..." Alexander glances back at the statue, breathing hard as he hurries after George. "Another solid hit from that thing might do me in... if death is possible here." He is still confused at how he is still alive after jumping on Jerry's bombs.
