Applying a +2 to your roll (janitors are usually pretty strong), you successfully swing your mop into the carpet that was still blazing. There's a hiss as the wet mop head makes contact with the burning rug, and the rug seems to crumple, sinking to the floor.
That's 3 rugs down, but plenty more between you and the door!

A quick description of the room for you, so you know what's occurring:
The room is circular and 300ft high. The only door is near the ceiling, 300ft. above you. There are rugs slowly levitating towards you, which have proven to be violent. Crilgor is sat on a rug which still has its clips on, and is slowly floating upwards towards the door, but there are rugs closing in above him, blocking the way, about 100ft. up. Crilgor is 20ft off the ground. The door above you is out of range of your fireball.
Stella is next, and then it's you Valanythia Silvamberdene (I'm assuming that's your name?)
