In Dragons of Stormwreck Isle, you will experience the magical scars left behind by the death of dragons. Faced with the evil schemes of one living dragon and the righteous anger of another, you will have the chance to explore whether peace between the feuding dragon families is possible--or if you must resort to violence to resolve the conflict on the island. Your adventure will begin at a tiny cloister called Dragon's Rest, a haven where world-weary people come to seek peace, reconciliation, and enlightenment. Here you will learn about--and hopefully triumph--over the dangers facing the island!
Hello there! I am looking to run a game of the Dragons of Stormwreck Isle starter module. This is a starter module that takes characters from level 1 to 3 so it is pretty short, but I think that makes it perfect for a PBP format as well. It is a good introduction to D&D so if you don't have much experience playing don't be afraid to apply! If you would like to apply, please fill out the application below.
Applications will be accepted until Sunday, January 15th!
Character/Application Rules

Backstory: Tihli was born into a Kobold Colony that were puritans and thought he was possessed by a demon when they discovered that he had the innate ability to cast magic (Kobold sorcery legacy) and that he had a natural interest in said magic. As a result, they kicked him out of there, and made Tihli wander by himself. After a few days of wandering, he met an old man by the name of Gorath who, upon seeing Tihli's current situation, let Tihli stay with him. Gorath happened to see Tihli's innate ability to cast magic, and that he had a passion for it, so Gorath decided to educate Tihli as his apprentice, for Gorath was an experienced wizard himself. Tihli spent a few years in his studying, and he got the hang of it pretty easily. One day, Gorath gave Tihli the purple robes that he now dons and revealed his true Identity to be a Gold Dragon in disguise whose lair was not far from the place Tihli was staying at. Tihli was taught one last thing that day, that he'd have to learn more about the art of the wizard on his own. So Gorath gave him some stuff like rations (to make sure he can survive) and had Tihli take his things and live on his own.
Tihli is an innocent cinnamon roll character, who tries to be kind to literally everyone he meets (as to not be like his birth tribe). He is a pacifist who doesn't kill people and won't kill anyone, and as such, he doesn't have any spells that do damage. (He will still contribute on combat as a support, and might fight, if necessary, still without killing anyone)
Why has your character come to Dragon's Rest?: Gorath, when sending him out on his own, let Tihli know of the Dragons rest in the first place, and how peaceful of a place it was. Tihli decided that he is going there to move there and continue his studies, only to encounter what'll be his adventuring party.
Backstory: Torvir was born in the upper Underdark, the caves his clan occupied close to the surface. Due to events before his birth his clan had been exiled from the city of their ancestors so in order to survive they had made a deal with an entity they had come into contact with. The pact stated a out of every three children born one would enter into a contract to serve the powerful being. Torvir happened to be the child chosen, a strange Sigil appearing on his shoulder like a brand. Once old enough to learn, he was taught how to access the magic granted to him.
Throughout his life Torvir would be given tasks by his patron, being given more control with each he completed. Out of a sense of duty to his clan he served faithfully so that his power would grow and he could protect them. After a long time he would receive a task from his patron, one that had him leave his home in the Underdark and travel to the surface.
Why has your character come to Dragon's Rest?: Torvir has received a vision from his patron that who or what he seeks is near the town of Dragon's Rest. He is to find the object of his patron's desire and return with it to the Underdark.
Orissa was born into a family of Tiefling thieves, learning everything she knew about breaking into buildings and chests from her father, and everything about seduction from her mother. Despite being in a criminal family, her childhood was rather normal... She went to school, played with friends... The only difference is, instead of learning how to make jewelry or shoes, she learned how to pick locks. As time went on, she got really good, at least in her eyes, she got skilled in breaking and entering.
Eventually she become of the age where all kids leave their nest and explore the world. She did this for a handful of years until she hit about 34, where she got rumor of some treasure in a place called Dragon's Rest. Whether or not it's true, she doesn't know, but she was never one to stray away from an adventure, and definitely if there was the possibility of treasure at the end of it.

Backstory: Ssej's name means silent death and he has used his monk training to become just that. He has no idea where he came from or anything really of his past except that he grew up in the order. He has always been brutal in the dealings with his enemies and has been well known for taking bites out of his conquests in his bloodlust. Ssej is always looking for something bigger and badder to fight, hoping to one day come to fight dragons and killing them with just his bare hands. He knows his only chance to fight the gods of the sky are dwindling so he has made his way to Dragon's Rest to seek his destiny.
