hey im a new dm  and ive only done one one shot but i realy enjoyed dming so im going to start a campaign

i cant do sessions from 3 to 7 though

Right now your post is very light on some, in my opinion, very pertinent facts.

1. What kind of campaign are you planning to run? What's the general idea for it? That helps people know if it's a theme they're interested in. Or if you don't know which campaign specifically but rather you have a few ideas rattling around your head, what are those ideas? What kind of style of campaign would it be? Heavy roleplay? Heavy combat? A mixture?

2. When you say you can't do sessions from 3 to 7, what timezone are you referring to? Does this mean your goal is to organize a time when everyone should try be online at the same time to have a bout of posting? (As opposed to the normative asynchronous nature of pbp.)

3. What are you looking for in potential applications? Jus the bare-bones of a character sheet and no backstory? Do you want a backstory? What level should people be making their characters?

Just some things I think it would be useful to include so that others can judge if it's something they want to get into.

I'm in.  If it's Play by Post on DnD Beyond's forums.  

Let me know the starting level and any pertinent information I should use to make a character with.

start with level 2 in case you want to multiclass and as long as you dont deal 700 damage per turn im fine with whatever character and yes its play by post

Is the plan to be available to post at a certain time?

I work until 4 pacific time & prefer posting when we can because of the difficulty of my schedule.

i have football practice at 3 and it ends at seven

so i cantdo sessions 3 through seven

I'm happy to join in. I've got plenty of characters to play, so happy to discuss one with you that fits the group / campaign rather than just offer one up here. If you could let me know the following, or just sort it out in a session zero (that is where the group get together and the DM outlines these things - normally that is done by a recruitment post on here.)

Point buy / roll for stats?
Expected level range during campaign? (I see we are starting at 2, where do you think we will get to?)
Homebrew or published campaign?
