Like everything it has evolved and changed a lot. I have always been used to writing session summaries for players but a few years ago I started writing the sessions from players. Sometimes with the Npcs point of view. It turned out that my players really enjoyed reading about their adventures and having a different perspective (that of the NPCs). A few weeks ago they eventually came around to telling me about it.
To be clear. I m no writer (I'm not even pretending to be) but I'll do my best every time. For me it's just another way to share a good time.
So here is the idea.
The Campaign:
The campaign will be about a group of adventurers drawn back into a life of danger and sacrifice for the greater good and to thwart the rise of a forgotten evil.
The setting will be Forgotten Realms. The region is to be decided after the characters' creation but probably it will be the Swordcoast or near it.
The Players:
I m looking for 4 to 5 players to run them through my campaign and I'm going to write about it from different point of view.
Players will be able to game as they want but I'll take liberties writing about it. Players will read the first drafts and tell me if changes need to be made.
Here are the few rules
4 or 5 players.
Level: will be 5th level
No evil alignment please
Advancement will be milestones
Stats: Roll 4d6keep the 3 best rolls.
Roles: players will have to decide what kind of role they want to fit in. You can apply for 2 roles at most. I m pretty open and will listen to any ideas. Nothing is set in stones.
Leader: Since the campaign is rather oriented toward the rebirth of one evil god and linked to magic I m looking for a wizard or a priest of Mystra or Azuth (or both).
Warrior: He can be anything as long as he belongs in the setting.
Shadow: Anything that specializes in skills and obfuscation. Ranger, rogue or special race. Specialized casters are also on the table.
Bookworm: I want him to be off. A Dwarven mage, a dark elf bard... Something we are not used to seeing.
Freebie: That is a bonus. Still since I'm not really looking for that character so it might be the hardest one. Post and be warned.
Your characters have known each others for a while and been part of the same adventuring group.
When the game starts it has been a year since they have decided to settle down and buy an inn.

Read what I have posted here https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/story-lore/27837-magister-reborn-story-thread to decide what you want to play and get the general idea.
Don't take anything at face value because this is a first draft and I 'll rework everything to fit with the heroes cast.
PM me with your ideas.

Haven’t used this account in forever. Still a big fan of crawling claws.
Changed my mind don’t think this is the right game for me
