My brood was not large maybe 30 nests among the Mistcliff mountains. When I was just 2 years old a horde of undead descended on us killing everyone around me, almost seeking us in their path of destruction. There was a rustling behind me and I knew it was over. Then I shrieked in pain as a brightness I had never seen before surrounded me and the undead around me vanished. A priest of Ubtao came to my rescue and took me under her wing, taking me back to her nest, err home. She began to teach me the ways of Ubtao and I latched onto these teachings to rid the world of undead so hopefully no one else would ever go through what I had to go through. After her unfortunate death I now wander the land in search of any and all undead to eradicate, keeping to myself mostly, silently muttering to my lost brood.
Lorien grew up in a small encampment that wandered the natural fields and forests. Nomadic tradesmen touring the world and following their spiritual guides. As he came of age he followed the tradition to carve his own path in the world to one day return to the camp a proven warrior.
A slender man with long dirty blond hair and a truffles beard. Smelling like strong herbs and something fungal. Carrying a yew staff and many pouches and pockets of natural remedies for any occasion.
(If that’s not healer enough I’m happy to make him a Cleric - Nature domain, probably change race though)
Left at the door step of a church of Torm. Angel was raised, taught by the religious zealots of the church. But she found no interest in prayer or the rituals the clerics she found one night that she didn't need the trappings to cast those spells. Not understanding her powers the clergy banished her and now she finds herself at the mercy of the world and her wits. Wondering from place to place.

Name: Sizan Sidrosin
Race/class: Yuan-Ti/Bard
Ability scores: 1477161314.
Short description/backstory:
Knowledge means a great deal to Sizan. For even in his darkest days, it provided succor where secrets, confusion, and admonishments left only pain. He is not want to give in to emotions, but understands well the need to be fair-minded. Sizan is a scholar at heart, who freely shares and seeks out Lore to make up for his failings as a "human". At a glance he is a human of either Turami or perhaps Chultan descent for his dark skin and tall form. Any that look close enough can see touches to skin and overcautious covering of his mouth to mask a more serpentine or draconic origin.
/
What started as a tale of star-crossed lovers turned into a tragedy upon the nature of one coming to light. Abandoned by one as a result of the schism, Sizan grew up in the care of his father in Candlekeep. Though taught many things, the truth of his bloodline and "accursed" appearance would not come to light for many years. A hunter for knowledge and indescribable longing for 'something' from his father kept him going despite the secrets and distrust from peers and superiors alike. For a time, at least. Eventually, a greater wish led to his wanting to leave, and discover answers about his mother that have thus far been kept from him. By good fortune or ill, a strange illness slowing overtaking his father provided an opportunity to potentially fulfill many a wishes. For in being allowed to look for a cure, no longer need he worry of elder eyes impeding his desires throughout his journey.
(Wasn't sure exactly what to put for description, so kind of went with a middle-ground there.)

A former wizard in training turned cleric after seeing the power of the gods first hand. Kip was a young girl at magic school paid in full by her loving parents when the campus came under attack by undead. The wizards fought valiantly but could not withstand the onslaught from the seven hells... until the local clerics showed and summoned the power of gods and angels to beat the underworld back. That’s when Kip knew true power and good lies with the gods. That’s when she started to work under the clerics studying divine magic.

Eesh, that’s rough. Let’s see . . .
I present to you Yesqirelle Lathalas, Cleric of the Grave.
Backstory: Yesquirelle was always a rather dark child, which set her apart from the other elves. She didn't seem to share the more carefree attitude of most of her people, and seemed fascinated with death. Her parents tried to cure her of this morbid fascination, but she would just seem to gravitate even more towards it. She never seemed to wish to cause it, just to observe it. Eventually, though, she saw too much of it. An outbreak of undead happened nearby, and a hoard of zombies slaughtered everyone in her village but her. She was afterwards taken in by a priest of Kelemvor, and became devoted to ridding the world of undead.

Short Description/Backstory: Standing a little taller than average compared to the Firbolgs she had met, Trisrel is the last of her tribe, her forest almost completely destroyed by a disaster that she could never fully comprehend. Having escaped this disaster by fleeing from the forest that had once protected her whole tribe. With only the few possessions she had with her when she fled, Trisrel found herself out of her element and looking for somewhere or someone to turn to. After months of wandering, she finally found a new forest that she spend the next 30 years in, learning the ways of this new forest and it's inhabitants before coming across a party of hunters, looking for food for the nearby village. Without the power of her tribe behind her, she couldn't lead the hunters out of the woods before they left with what they came for, but also not before seeing Trisrel by mistake as she attempted to hide from them. In an odd way, it was good for both the village and Trisrel. She had a new, if temporary tribe, and they had protection form the more dangerous beasts of the forest. Still, it's never stopped her from wondering if maybe someone else survived from her tribe, or if there even is another tribe somewhere that could take her in should she find them.
Evelyn was born in a small village that worshipped the goddess Sune. Whilst her younger brother, Adam, wasn't very dedicated, Evelyn, as the eldest child, was raised to become the head priestess of the temple. She, however, wished to travel the world, to preach the beauty of Sune to those who haven't heard of it yet, rather than surround herself with the same people repeating the same things that she already knew to her everyday of her life. She wanted excitement and conflict. She wanted people to question her and her beliefs, to grow as a person rather than be brainwashed into one way of thinking. And so she left, running away from home with not more than note saying sorry left behind. As she travels, what ever money she manages to come by, she sends some to her family with a note telling them of her adventures. It's the least she can do after abandoning her duty.
Your early life was nothing special. An only son to an innkeeper and a smith, you grew up helping your father (the innkeeper) brewing beer for the inn. When you were old enough you went off to work as a miner. During a scout of a cave system for ores and gems you found a strange gem. As you touched it, it exploded, bringing you to the brink of death.
In the darkness between life and death something moved, hunting you. And you know that if it catches you, you will cease to exist, no afterlife.
But something thrust an amulet in your hand and pushed you back to the side of life. Around you the cave had collapsed. It took 2 days to crawl back to the town, half-dead.
Although you are now firmly among the living, you can still feel IT hunting you, watching, waiting. It invades your dreams, and appears in every shadow you see.
The amulet is a miniature silver gate, and you can feel it pushing energy into you, giving you power you could only have dreamed of a mere week ago.
You had to get away from that mine, so you left, slowly finding the limits of your new powers.
Finding that you could stop people dying with this magic granted to you, you began travelling to do just that. And in the unfortunate case that a creature is beyond saving, helping them towards death.
Hearing of a strange curse on the land, you head that way to see if you can assist in removing the curse...
She was raised in the local temple having come from parents who were priests of Eldath themselves. Her whole life has been one of learning to heal and administer to those in need. She learned that all life is precious, but that there is evil in the world and beyond it. Now, she has come of age and ability and has been given her first assignment by the temple: find those who would protect others from evil and watch over them while spreading no evil herself. She will not engage in violence herself (except in self defense or defense of her patients), but will help those who must do so to battle evil wherever it is.
