Please read the first post in the game forum at least, and the last few would help so you're not completely lost lol.Content sharing will be enabled, I have all the books. The other three PC's are a Human Bard, Human Fighter/Warlock, and a Half-Elf Paladin. You will make a level 3 character. I roll for HP's but have a homebrew way lol(level 1 is always max hit die). Roll your hit die for a chance above the average, if you roll below the average you just take the average.(averages: d6=4, d8=5, d10=6, d12=7) roll for stats here in your post as well as your level 2 and 3 HP's. Use the 4d6 drop lowest, reroll 1'sonce for your stats.
What I'll need from you:
PC Name:
Ability Scores rolled:
Race:
Class:
Background:
Level 2&3 HP's:
You can tell me a little about your character if you’d like. Use the starting equipment for now.
Posting:
When posting we’ll use “OOC:” and regular font for any direct talk from person to person or DM.
In character please pick a Color to use for your characters actual Speech as well as put the font in “Italics”.(you can see the colors the others use in the thread) Example: Lothiat walks to the merchant and says, “Have you got any fruit for sale?”
If you’d like to post what your characters thinking for RP situations, use “< >” symbols on either side of the text. Example: Lothiat plops down at the fire, <Gosh I’m so hungry, why didn’t the rest want to stop and hunt>. When this is done the other characters then know that they did not actually hear this, it was only done for story/RP reasons.
Rolls will be done with the dice roller using the standard form of what you’re rolling for (in bold) followed by : and the dice roll. Example: Investigation: 4
If you are unsure what to roll, you can Ask or roll what you think it should be if you don’t want to wait. If I think different I’ll say so and wait for the re-roll! 😊.
Theres a little more on the campaign page if you get chosen.

Background: Acolyte - Thorarak was kicked out of his monastery just before completing his final trials. While he displayed a great competency for all magic he excelled as a cleric. However, his lust for the drink and party was too great and finally the monastery had enough of his antics.
This is great; I had a character in a HotDQ campaign who had just hit level 3 before the DM had to abandon it. Can I ask what classes the other players are?
Ability scores: 16718161010
PC Name: Andree Tealeaf Race: Ghostwise Halfling Class: Monk (Way of the Open Hand) Background: Outlander HP rolls: Level 2: 8
Level 3: 11
Backstory: Andree was raised in an isolated tribe of ghostwise halflings far from civilization, and thus has little knowledge of the social customs of other cultures, but even within her own culture she always had a difficult time behaving in socially appropriate ways. And so, when the tribe elders suggested that she might go off on a solitary journey of spiritual enlightenment -- presumably because they saw some potential in her, and not because they wanted to get rid of her? -- she didn't hesitate. After three years living in the wilderness, cut off from the companionship of anyone but the native beasts, she began to have visions of things to come. One such vision was particularly disturbing: dragons raining destruction down on cities and towns. Although she did not recognize the places in her vision, she valued all life, and felt bound to end her isolation, and trek through the wilderness to find the source of this destruction and try to stop it. She was eventually able to make her way toward the vicinity of Greenest, where she encountered a group of adventurers with a common goal...
Edit: I'm also considering a respec of Andree as a Circle of the Shepherd Druid, which would also fit her, if the party would rather have a caster/healer/support type.
As a young Goliath her tribe was constantly on the move and would occasionally stumble upon wreckage's left by bandits on the roads in their travels. Deciding to investigate the wreckage of the merchant caravan Sumazura stumbled upon a book of stories about cities and villages across the lands in this region. She spent many years combing the pages of the book she had found until one day she decided she was tired of the barbaric life she was born into and decided to leave her tribe to find a better way. After making her way through the forest Sumazura's first stop was to a smaller town, stumbling upon work at an all faiths shrine where she learned to interact with a more civilized type of people. While working she quickly fell in love with Erathis the god of civilization and decided it best to learn from a bunch of different people from across the world. Sumazuras plan is to travel to villages, towns and cities to learn different ways of life one day hoping to return to her tribe and teach them a new way of life.
Sameal is the oldest son of the Uthburn family, a noble family of wood elves. Now into his second century his father has sent him out into the world to make a name for himself. With his entourage accompanying him, he has begun is own story, one that hopes will bring fortune and fame to himself and his family. He just hopes his nightly activities and companions don't ruin him.
Ruik doesn't speak of where he is from, though It is likely he has long forgotten. Born in 1213, the Year of the Night's Peace, Ruik has seen and lived through a lot. Most of his life was spent living and working in the mines and dwarven enclaves across the Spine of the World as a blacksmith. Never a soldier or fighter, he continued this work during various wars. Always a bit restless he never stayed more than a decade or two in any one place, moving around a lot. It wasn't until 1360 and the Time of Troubles that Ruik left that life behind. For a couple of decades before then he had begun to spend more and more time wandering the woods, mountains and hills around the areas he lived and worked. In 1385 he really began to be unhappy with how he lived and worked. In 1360 he left blacksmithing behind and began to live like a hermit, often alone for months or years. He tired of his old life and sought enlightenment of what other purpose he may have in life. It was after the Spellplague of 1385 that he began to develop some ability in magic. He joined with some druids who met when the moon was full. He has spent many years learning and growing in his power. He has also started to come out of his self inflicted seclusion from the the wider world. By the time of the Second Sundering he had become a member of the secret organization, the Harpers. He passed information of what was happening and what he saw during his travels across Faerûn. Now Ruik spends his time living in the woods and wandering the roads. He is always watching what is happening, listening to rumors. He can now be as easily found in a tavern in any town as the woods and hills around those towns. He is always seeking information, rumors and secrets.
Background: Miner (Using traits from the Earthspur Miner background)
Level 2&3 HP's: 42
About Galrick: Surly by even Dwarf standards, Galrick is short-tempered and quick to grouchiness, with little time for anyone he sees as not putting in the appropriate amount of effort to get a job done. Working in mine after mine for more years than most humans live for, he's gained an appreciation for teamwork and the bonds forged over months of hard, continuous labour. If it wasn't for the sudden manifestation of his powers after a near total cave in that would have killed him and his fellows, he would gladly still be there with them, chipping away at the hard rock to unearth the bounty behind it. As it is however, his magic was new and unfamiliar to him, doing things unexpectedly, and causing him more than a little annoyance when it did things he didn't want. He didn't like it. So he set out to try and master his new magic, and someday return to what he loves.
High all! I'm looking for one PC to join our game. one of our regulars had to take a break due to IRL stuff= Very laid back playing of: Hoard of the Dragon Queen.
