In the Northwest corner of The Six Lands of Shimeria lies the RoseBloom Kingdom, home to the most beautiful gardens in Shimeria. Although, under the beauty is a huge problem: the Flowers of Light have been stolen by a demon lord and evil monsters now roam the kingdom. Please, find all eight Flowers of Light, to restore peace to the kingdom.
This is a lv.3 pbp campaign for 3-8 players conducted by a newer DM, and is heavy in roleplay. Milestone Leveling, Artificer class, guns, and rolled ability scores are banned. If you want to join, leave a comment and your character sheet.
Milestone Leveling, Artificer class, and rolled ability scores are banned.
Just out of curiosity, when you say "Milestone and rolled ability scores are banned", do you just mean that we're going to use XP and Standard array/Point Buy for this game? I'm just commenting on that because you worded that in an unusual way.
Backstory: Noldeme doesn't remember her whole life. One day, a few years ago, she woke up inside a pirate ship and that was her first memory. She had been captured along with a man, and they both had to work there to remain on the pirates' good side. Things didn't go so well, but on a day where she had to save this man's life and hers, Noldeme discovered of her celestial ancestry and the pact that was formed between this holy weapon she didn't know she had up to this point.
Through her powers, she barely escaped alive, but the man she was trying to save wasn't as lucky as her. After that, she didn't give up on the sea and spent the last few years sailing from town to town, becoming a lot more acquainted with the ways of the sailors. With the appearance of a demon lord creating chaos in the kingdom, her patron forced her into action and so she went on this journey albeit reluctantly.
Taman is the cleric of a knowledge/learning/magic oriented god. (Azuth if in the forgotten realms.) he is also a very learned sage of history and arcana. His studies have moved him into the realm of wizard studies, and he has taken to that with the blessing of his god.b
Raised in an orphanage Gorth never seemed to have a future outside of the military or mercenary work and he accepted that. As a teen he met a man who would visit the children and heal them as needed. This holy man, a dragonborn no less helped people and was accepted and appreciated in return. Gorth began to look forward to the visits and was like a shadow.
The red skinned healer never gave his name. "I'm here to help, that's what's important " Gorth moved from hero worship to genuine admiration and inspiration, joining the order at 16 and leaving for the front lines and wilderness determined to help as many people as possible.
Real life he quickly learned was very different than an old man interacting with orphans and disillusionment set in. Gorth began to trust his steel more than his faith and never took his final vows, maybe someday.
Let's be up front and honest about this. I am unashamedly building Hamato Raphael from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles following the Building Character Guide found on Youtube, because it sounds like fun.
Need 2d8 hit dice for my monk levels...those are: 6
Tomash, though not the smartest Dragonborn, is a strong and independent fighter hailing from the late Clearjek clan. As it is for most nomadic barbarians, not every clan can rise to the top and survive and while Tomash and a few other clansmen were hunting for food, the rest of the clan was wiped out. When Tomash and the others returned to see the bloodshed ensuing, the remaining Clearjek's went into a blind rage and slaughtered their foes. In the end only Tomash remained. He buried his clan, looted and left his foes to rot, and took on the Clearjek surname in the hopes that he can one day revive his clan to what it was.
Until Tomash feels ready to lead his own clan, he travels the land taking on odd jobs as a means to learn more of the world. While the original Clearjek was a barbarian, he was strong, patient, and wise; something Tomash hopes to be as well - if he can get out of his somewhat brutish and selfish ways.
The Kingdom of RoseBloom, home of the most beautiful gardens in Shimeria. An evil demon lord known as Dachau (dock-ow) stole the eight Flowers of Light, the defense of the kingdom, Princess Lily pleas for heroes to destroy him and recover the flowers.
All of you start in the garden (in front) of RoseBloom Castle.
(So we're all just gonna start like this? No campaign page? No telling who's in and who isn't? At least, turn the Recruiting tag off as to not have people trying to apply for the game after we started.)
One, Don't question me like that, I don't like it when people do that. Two. I can't put my phone in landscape mode to change it and my computer is dead. Three. Bounces, sorry your not in.
Fair enough. Feedback though, Pertuie wasn't being rude. He was asking fair and relevant questions. If you want to have a fun and collaborative experience with your players I would recommend being open to "questions".

(Well, @Bounces, thanks for defending me, and @CherryBomb314, sorry for offending you. It's reaching close to New Year for me so I won't be able to continue right now.)
(Hey, do you mind if I make a chat here in D&D Beyond to use as our OOC conversation? I can also use that to share the link of our campaign page if you need some help with that. I know it may not be every DM's style, and you're not in the proper position to set up something like that, but I'm here, offering some help if you think you need it. I hope that doesn't come off as rude as my first message did.)
Taman walks through the gardens, enjoying the arrangements and scents as he moves along. His tressym familiar flits through the shadows nearby, stalking shadows as it keeps an eye on the area. Taman is a tall human with raven-black hair and storm-gray eyes. He wears scale mail armor and has a crossbow at one hip, a component pouch at the other. A shield is across his back, with the symbol of Azuth, or some other god of magic, on it. His hands are behind his back, held with one hand gripping the other wrist, as he walks along in thought.
(Anyways, respond when you can. I got some time to continue in-character, so here I am.)
Noldeme isn't in her ambient being so far from the sea, but the flowers make this a nice view she hadn't seen much of before. Not enough to distract her from what she had to do. Noldeme didn't look much different from any other human, her long messy brown hair, her face with sharp features and brown eyes, and her actual ancestry was nowhere to be detected. On her person, one can only find two daggers tied to her waist, except for the Component Pouch she carried which told a different story. She wore no armor, just common clothes.
Out of RoseBloom Castle's front door comes Princess Lily, a Red-headed human who is 15, and has a scarlet and light red dress. Her name tiara is closely shaped like a water lily. And her pendant necklace has a field of red with a rosebud in the middle. "You must be here to recover our flowers" she says "I'd save our kingdom if they are returned, but you'd need them to stop Dachau and get in his tower" She points to a tower on the hills "that's where you'll find him. But when you want to take a break, you can explore the towns." She then points to a feild of giant mushrooms "the first Flower of Light should be there."
"Well, it is east of the castle, yet It'll take a while to get there, if you need help, use this to get my advice." She then gives you a sending stones. "They don't need to recharge, and the amount of words are quadrupled. The mushrooms are magic, and grow to be huge."

Gorth can be found pacing the perimeter of the garden mostly looking in, up and out periodically. Not looking for anything just sizing up the group.
