If a Warforged, say, absorbs Plate Armor into their body, does that still count as wearing armor, or would they be able to use skills and magic items that rely on not wearing armor, such as Bracers of defence, or the monks unarmored movement?
I'm guessing it still counts as wearing armor, but I want to ask to be sure.
With the current warforged, yes it is still armor as it simply can not be removed from you without your wanting it to be.
With Pre-Rising from the Last war Warforged, they had a thing that would replicate armor but was not armor so it would stack with those things. Hence why they changed the warforged.
The wording for Warforged in Eberron - Rising from the Last War says
You can don only armor with which you have proficiency. To don armor, you must incorporate it into your body over the course of 1 hour, during which you must remain in contact with the armor. To doff armor, you must spend 1 hour removing it. You can rest while donning or doffing armor in this way.
While you live, your armor can't be removed from your body against your will.
So, I would say, this states that you are still "wearing" the armor, because it is still donning and doffing armor and it works also only with armor proficiency.

Yes. The terminology used would support the interpretation that the armor is still being "worn" from the perspective of stacking with secondary effects.
A related, possibly larger question, does the armor incorporated "into" the body of the warforged have total cover against spells and other effects? The rules states the armor is incorporated into the body of the warforged. Personally, I interpret that to mean that it is inside but I can easily understand different interpretations. This is particularly important for spells like Heat Metal which targets metal objects being worn or carried.
