If a ranger has taken "human" as favored enemy, does it grant bonuses tracking wererats/wolves/bears/etc (assuming base race is human)? If yes - then only when in full human form? Or also when in hybrid form?
I'd imagine it's a 'no' when in animal form, but I'm not sure about the human and hybrid forms.
According to how DDB is set-up, Were-x creatures are separate entries under the "Humanoid" group of creatures.
When you choose Humanoid as your favored enemy you chose two specific groups of humanoids to have as favored enemies: elves, orcs, goblins etc. including separate entries for Wererat, Werewolf, Wereboar etc.

Ok. So I can see that applying to hybrid form, but if they were in human form shouldn't 'human' enemy be used? If in rat/wolf/bear form, then 'beast/vermin/whatever' be used?
Just because a Were-X is in human form vs hybrid vs animal does not remove the Were-X label. Thus it would always be considered, for sake of tracking, information, knowledge, type, etc. to be a Were-X. There would be something about the information you'd get from Survival that would point to this not being quite human.

How would Favored Foe work vs Dopplegangers? I don't see that race listed on DDB's Favored Foe's humanoids listings.
Doppleganger is considered a Monstrosity, which is a choice on the Favored Enemy list.
Thanks.
