Okay so the Necklace of Adaptation lets you breath normally in any environment. Does this include under water?
What about during a suffocation effect such as when swallowed by quicksand or trapped by a rug of smothering?
Yes, any environment would include underwater.
Also, I think being able to breathe in any environment does not mean immunity to suffocation. So, the rug would still suffocate you.
