I have been playing in the character builder trying to plan out a Half Orc Berserker Barbarian. It is an easy combat build for the first few levels (Bonus Action-Rage; Attack-Greataxe; If Crit-Add Savage Attacks). My Question come from what to do when you add the Great Weapon Master feat at level 4 when you crit the GWM bonus attack? Does the attack pattern just loop until you don't roll a crit or drop a creature HP to 0?
The bonus action was spent using rage. When you crit your attack or drop a creature to 0 HP, GWM gives you a bonus melee action. If the GWM bonus action crits, do you get an additional bonus melee attack as GWM conditions have been re triggered with the crit?
It doesn't GIVE a bonus melee action, it allows you to make a bonus melee attack IF you use your bonus action to do so. If you already used your bonus action to rage, then you can't make the bonus attack.

GWM, like all bonus action abilities, merely grants you the ability to take a bonus action if you are able to do so. If you have already used a bonus action that turn, you cannot use a second.
Thank you all for responding to this topic. I understand how it works now. I also misread the description were it mention "you can make one melee weapon attack as a bonus action." If I am ever to play this character, I now know that the GWM bonus attach can only be used once when I have an bonus action available.
Time stop doesn't give extra bonus actions; it lets you take full turns while everything else is frozen. You're still getting the same number of bonus actions per turn
You briefly stop the flow of time for everyone but yourself. No time passes for other creatures, while you take 1d4 + 1 turns in a row, during which you can use actions and move as normal.
This spell ends if one of the actions you use during this period, or any effects that you create during this period, affects a creature other than you or an object being worn or carried by someone other than you. In addition, the spell ends if you move to a place more than 1,000 feet from the location where you cast it.

Which is the same situation as the 17th level Thief feature. Probably should have clarified, but I was just commenting/adding to the getting more bonus actions in a round thing from that comment. (Which I now realize doesn't address the original post so is kind of hijacking that question with unrelated stuff)

The only way I know of to get a second Bonus Action is to take 17 levels of the Rogue subclass "Thief", thereby getting Thieve's Reflexes.
Or 17 levels of a wizard or sorcerer and cast Time Stop.
