does anyone know of any campaigns or books of lore dealing with the eastern half of faerun (east of the moonsea)? i've just started to get into the lore and i'm thinking of starting to dm, but i'm thinking of a setting not in the new 5e books (those are the only books i know of since i'm rather new to dnd) aka sword coast or chult area. any information would be appreciated. thanks in advance for at least reading this and for any help you all can give. :)
I'm curious about 5e lore. The "official" Faerun map seems to be mostly just the Sword Coast. Is there a reason that WotC narrowed the scope on which Forgotten Realms lore takes place? Unless I'm misunderstanding something here?
4e wrought havoc on FR and with 5e they have for the most part retconed alot of what was done. I use the 3.5 map when I need to reference to somthing there isnt an updated map for. The Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting is a great book. I had one and let it go and have been looking for another even since.
thank you all so much. as a fairly new player to dnd, i have wondered about the other half since all of the 5e books seem to center around the western side of the map. you all rock!

3e
Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting
Unapproachable East
THANK YOU!!!
Gladly. Also, that was off the top of my head. There are probably more like a FR Atlas or suchlike.

I play a medium amount of board games.

Book wise - the 4e FR campaign setting will give the most recent info, there was also heaps of Info given in Dragon mag during 4e time.
For 2-3eds, there were numerous books on different areas. Unapproachable East was one of my favourites for 3.5
