So before I go off and write a giant piece, I thought I would ask here.
In the module I am running (TSC), it makes mention of dragon priests, a dragon cult, and Ashardalon. Is there any existing lore - either official or non-official - that documents a bit of the history? Or legend/myth? I am happy to make something up but I'd prefer to read and then alter to fit into my game.
Thanks for any help - feel free to throw out some ideas as well, if you have any. The idea would be to have the info fill 3 tomes (in-game) for the PCs to find. I think I'll have them connect with the failed dragon priest as well.
There is a Cult of the Dragon. It honors undead dragons and considers Ashardalon to be one such worthy of honor despite some specific distinctions to Ashardalon's state of existence and undeath.

Thanks again!
