every feature in the game that can recharge when you finish either a short rest or a long rest they say that it recharges after a short or long rest, maybe they could get away with saying less than that but it keeps things clear.
So then what does it mean then the 10th level feature for the divination wizard says "after a rest"? is it just a werid wording to mean the same thing that just got sort of missed by the erratra or does it apply to things as short as a 5-minute break from adventuring?

i am soup, with too many ideas (all of them very spicy) who has made sufficient homebrew material and character to last an thousand human lifetimes
Likely because the sentence directly before it included the exact phrasing “short or long rest” and having listed again in the very next sentence would be considered “clunky” and, from an eloquence standpoint less than “best practice.”
