While you wear these sandals, you can move along the surface of liquids as if on solid ground. Any other hazard associated with the liquid -- heat from proximity to lava, or corrosiveness from acid, does not affect the sandals but will affect the wearer at the DM's discretion.

When used over churning or moving surfaces, such as with waves in a violent ocean, the wearer must make a DC 14 Acrobatics check; on failure, the wearer falls prone.
